Terminator Genisys

Recommended Posts

Paramount Pictures looks like it's going to be the new home of The Terminator as The Wrap reports that Annapurna and Skydance are negotiating with the studio to team on the next entry in the blockbuster franchise.

As reported earlier this year, Patrick Lussier and Laeta Kalogridis are teaming up to script the next installment. Lussier directed Drive Angry and My Bloody Valentine 3D while Kalogridis penned Shutter Island and did some script work on James Cameron's Avatar.

Arnold Schwarzenegger himself recently confirmed that he intends to be involved in the new film, which marks the franchise's fifth big screen entry.

The year is 2029. John Connor, leader of the resistance continues the war against the machines. At the Los Angeles offensive, John's fears of the unknown future begin to emerge when TECOM spies reveal a new plot by SkyNet that will attack him from both fronts; past and future, and will ultimately change warfare forever.

They will not be using CG to make Arnold look younger. They are saying that the tissue put over the endoskeleton ages like regular human tissue.

It's not that much of a mystery. English accent plus distinct features equals heart throb. Just look at Benefits Crumblesnatch.
