Ringer

Buffy the Vampire Slayer’s Sarah Michelle Gellar could make her return to TV, just not on CBS as many had expected. Instead, the CW could order to series a drama about a woman on the run from the mob who hides out by inhabiting the life of her twin sister -- until she learns that her twin’s life has a bounty on it as well.

That sounds really bad. SMG should know better.

I'll admit it. I will probably give Charlie's Angels a try, especially if they follow the movies lead and imply that the original series is in continuity. Also, if Good Christian Belles had went with the original title, Good Christian Bitches, I might have been interested. As is, meh. I'm intrigued by Apartment 23 just because is has James Van Der Beek playing James Van Der Beek.

The trailers for the new Fox shows.

I Hate My Teenage Daughter looks like the worst show I've seen in awhile. New Girl is all about Zooey. I hope she can carry the show by herself. Alcatraz is the newest Lost ripoff, but this time from the guy that made Lost. Napoleon Dynamite has the original cast doing the voices, and that's what will save it.

In other news, TNT is splitting up the last season of The Closer with the second half premiering in Summer 2012 followed closely by the Spin-Off, Major Crimes with Mary McDonnell taking over the lead from Kyra Sedgwick. This excites me because everytime McDonnell has guest starred, she has just been made of awesome.

Camelot didn't get bad ratings; it got cancelled (reportedly) because of contract problems with the cast.

I never said it had bad ratings. I was saying that if they can cancel a show with fairly decent ones, then Torchwood isn't safe by a long shot. The reason Camelot was canceled was because it was too much of a hassle to get everyone together to film it.

After painstaking consideration, we have had to make the difficult business decision to not order a season six of Eureka. But Eureka is not over yet. There is a new holiday episode this December and 12 stellar episodes set to debut next year, marking its fifth season and six memorable years on Syfy. The 2012 episodes are some of the best we've seen, and will bring this great series to a satisfying end. We are very grateful to Bruce Miller and Jaime Paglia, their team of incredible writers, and an amazing cast and crew who have consistently delivered a series we continue to be very proud of. We thank the fans for their support of this show and know they will enjoy its final season in 2012.

Syfy has renewed Warehouse 13.

The Syfy series, starring Eddie McClintock and Joanne Kelly, will return for a fourth season with 13 episodes set to air next year, The Hollywood Reporter confirms.

Created by Jack Kenny, Warehouse 13 has been a solid performer in the ratings so far this season, averaging 2.3 million total viewers. This season of Warehouse 13 saw an addition to the cast with Aaron Ashmore as Steve Jinks.

In May, THR broke the news that Syfy, which recently axed plans for a sixth season of Eureka, was developing a potential spinoff starring Warehouse 13 character H.G. Wells. At Comic-Con last month, Kenny talked about the status of the project, saying that it is in "very early planning stages" but has "gotten Syfy interested in the notion."
