SuaveStar
Bleeding Cool has posted covers for several #1s coming out in September. These include Nightwing #1, Batman #1, and Detective Comics #1. None of the covers are anything special.

Missy
I think that might be Jason Todd as Nightwing.
SuaveStar
I think that might be Jason Todd as Nightwing. DiDido wouldn't try that again would he? It sounded stupid when they did it OYL.
Missy
I've split the reboot talk from the Flashpoint thread.

SuaveStar
The more reveals DC does, the less books I realise I actually care about reading. Right now, DC has me with these: Johns Green Lantern Batman #1 as Scott Snyder as his run on Detective is gripping and a lot of fun. Batwoman: For the art. Possibly: Nightwing: I've enjoyed reading about Dick Grayson in the past few years. Aquaman: I'll wait till I hear what people say. Grant Morrison's Superman: I'll wait for others to say what they think.
Delete
You know how they say not to judge a book by its cover? Yeah, fuck that. This reboot is horseshit.
KnightWing
IGN has a ton of news on the Bat-books. Let's see if I can recap: -Bruce is now the only Batman. -Damian is still Robin -All the stuff with Dick and Damian as B&R still happened. -Barbara is Batgirl again, though it's not said whether her time as Oracle ever happened -Dick is Nightwing -Jason has his own book
Koete
-Barbara is Batgirl again, though it's not said whether her time as Oracle ever happened Everybody mark off "unnecessary character regression" on your bingo cards.
Missy
There's also Batwing #1 on the horizon. As Rich points out at Bleeding Cool, IGN called the character African-America despite the fact that he's not America. He's a black African. Missy
By the way, unless Gail Simone and / or Ethan Van Sciver are attached to the project, I will give Nightwing a try for a few months.
KnightWing
Everybody mark off "unnecessary character regression" on your bingo cards. I always preferred Barbara as Batgirl than Oracle. Not by a lot, mind you, but enough that I'm really happy with this.
SuaveStar
By the way, unless Gail Simone and / or Ethan Van Sciver are attached to the project, I will give Nightwing a try for a few months. NIGHTWING will be written by Kyle Higgins with art duties handled by fan-favorite Eddy Barrows. DC Source Also: In the wake of our announcement of a historic line of new #1’s within the Batman family, many of you noticed that while several of the titles and characters spun out of the Batman, Inc. storyline, there was no mention of that series itself - but there’s a reason for that: Grant Morrison’s BATMAN, INCORPORATED series will return with a new issue #1 in early 2012. Grant Morrison had this to say about Batman, Incorporated: “Batman, Incorporated will continue through to Issue #10 and August’s shocking season finale that changes the Batman status quo yet again. The series will take a brief hiatus while I work on a major new project to be announced shortly. Batman, Incorporated returns next year with me, Chris Burnham and Batman: Leviathan, the epic 12 part conclusion to my 6 year Batman saga. Don’t miss it!” Source
Missy
I'm not crazy about either creator, but my previous statement stands; it'll get a few months from me.
Missy
Also, Jason Todd's book is called Red Hood and the Outlaws, with Scott Lobdell and Kenneth Rocafort as the creative team. Why is Arsenal wearing a stupid baseball cap in that image?

Since I started buying comics again, it's easily been the most engaging I've read over the years.
Stavros
Looks like Ivy to me. Pretty sure the Ivy-looking one is Thorn, since that character has a similar look but actually has a history with the Birds as a semi-good guy. Ivy wouldn't make much sense. It's the one in the middle that I'm drawing a blank on. I guess Jason Todd has gone back to his old outfit plus a red bat-symbol on the chest. Are we getting references to Batman Beyond here? Boo Dick being Nightwing again. His team with Damien was awesome, I can't imagine the father/son being as much fun. Also, what the blazes is Tim Drake going to be doing? Still on Outsiders? Edit Stavros beat me to it! That Red Hood cover looks like a bad Dustin Nguyen copy to me. So, Jason gets to run an Outsider style team, I can deal with that.
