Ultimately a stalemate. Seeing as the shark is pretty much confined to water and the Phantom is smart enough to stay away.

In battle? No chance, ugly! In iconic nature? Gotta go with the shark. No one remembers a song from Phantom of the Opera that isn't written by Andrew Lloyd Weber.

Shark wins.

The Shark for the main reason that it's kinda a viscous killer and, if you believe the crazy lady on Jaws the Revenge, it has nothing better to do than to try and wipe out her genetic line. The shark gets major points for trying to wipe out anyone related to a woman stupid enough to think a shark is just out to kill everyone who shares her DNA.

Well that shark did travel thousands of miles to try and kill them off. At this point I'd say she probably has a case given the number of people she's known who've been killed by the damn things.

Deep Blue Sea sharks can swim backwards, Jaws 4 can follow flights thousands of miles.

Let's restrict this to the first one eh?
