Guest
Decker is a manipulator. Leatherface is a puppet. It's not even close for me, and this is coming from someone that really thinks Cronenberg should stay on the other side of the camera. Decker is just ten times more intriguing as a character. All that said, I love that bridge scene way too much.
Dread
Ha! We're agreeing way too much. But Decker is a minor character in a montser movie that very well could have had his own slasher series. He is intelligent, evil and incredibly psychotic. On top of that, he has an immense knowledge of how the human mind works with a clear history of convincing his patients that THEY are responsible for HIS crimes. Probably the most underrated horror character I can think of. Leatherface is a cross-dressing retard who gets frustrated very quickly and devolves into tears. dc20willsave
Even though Leatherface came before most of the current Slasher icons, he's always seemed like that player on the basketball team that is just there because they needed to fill players. slothian
Leatherface deserves a place in this tourney, but I think Decker is a much better, more calculating villain. It helps that Clive Barker created him too.
