In "Killer," Avon and Vila blackmail an old accomplice of Avon to help them steal a vital crystal, while Blake warns a group of scientists about a mysterious ship that has been missing for centuries. In "Hostage," Travis contacts Blake to offer an alliance, and, to make sure he has Blake's attention, holds Blake's cousin prisoner. Along the way, they get annoyed by British light entertainment of the 1990s, and fantasize about Blake's 7 as directed by Chris Nolan.
