Teen Titans to return to full episodes next year

Recommended Posts

Is there a possiblity of WFP coming back...well maybe not the same schedule, and maybe as an Earth-2.net The Show segment, to cover the episodes?

As well as the mini-episodes that led to the series returning?

Maybe as a segment of The Show, but not as WFP. I love the idea of it having ended after 100 episodes, and I really don't want to produce more. But it wouldn't be until after this new thing is complete.

I'm just going to take this as a full admission that it's not in continuity. :P

Still trying the find the source but according to wikipedia Teen Titans Go will confirm that Teen Titans was in DCAU continuity and Kevin Conroy will be reprising his roll as Batman.

Wasn't sure since both Batman and Alfred have already appeared on New Teen Titans shorts (however not by their DCAU voice actors). I'll wait and see.

I don't honestly care either way, it's just fact that Conroy has been Batman in lots of things, not all of them in DCAU Continuity. And honestly, Justice League Crisis on Two Earths Is in DCAU continuity and Billy Baldwin was Bats, there.

I actually do not believe Teen Titans is in continuity I just read something that excited me that probably wasn't true. Sorry to cause so much controversy.

no it's not

For all intents and purposes, it is. It bridges the gap between JL and JLU, perfectly.

Yeah, got to agree with Preston. The introduction of Wonder Woman's jet, increasing the ranks, and it supposedly being in development for years, as a mini movie in between JL and JLU.

Okay but Bruce Timm and co. went out of their way too remove and direct connections to the DCAU and didnt get and DCAU voice actors to try to set it apart as much as possible.

It only has those connections because an early draft of the film was intended to bridge the gap between JL and JLU.

Also I don't know I don't know why there's any controversy since there are direct contradictions like Hal Jordon. It's fine if you want to believe that similar events happened between the two shows, but this movie is not in continuity.

Hal was shown as a member of the Corps, and with Hawkgirl gone, it's not hard to believe that John wouldn't ask for some time off, or at least away from Earth, with Hal filling in for him.

But then why did Batman and Wonder Woman not know who he was when he showed up in Once and Future Thing. Also like I said Bruce Timm reworked the Co2E script from the Worlds Collide script to remove any direct references to the TV series' continuity. Can you really argue with Bruce Timm?

I took that as more shock that John had just turned into a strapping white dude.

And removing those specific references doesn't take it out of continuity, it just makes it less obvious.

But Hal intoduced himself, did he forget he youse to be on the team also? Well you can probably talk yourself through every inconsistancy but if the creator of the DCAU himself says it's out of continuity, I'll take his word for it.

I think Crisis on Two Earths is "sort of" in continuity in that, most likely, a very similar version of those events happened in the DCAU. So the general details are in continuity, even if a lot of the finer details aren't.
