JasonC
Reeeaaaaalllly? Hmmm. This might. Might. Get me to watch more than the opening episode. Maybe.
dc20willsave
Lucy Lawless is playing a veteran agent, Nick Blood will be playing Lance Hunter, and Reed Diamond will be playing Daniel Whitehall aka Kraken. Also, they teased at Mockingbird,
JasonC
Dammit, I was hoping she'd be a HYDRA agent or something evil.
KnightWing
Who says she still isn't?
JasonC
I suppose they have to get Ward in the show somehow.
Dan
I can't be arsed to look anyone's name up, but is anyone saying anything about the fact that Ward's actor was at SDCC and Tripplet's wasn't?
dc20willsave
Yep. I haven't heard note one about Trip for next season so that's not exactly encouraging. He was never promoted to regular so not a clue.
Dan
Adrianne Palicki (David E. Kelley's infamous Wonder Woman pilot) is onboard as Mockingbird.
Molly
Good for her, Not-Quite-Black-Canary is a great fit for Not-Quite-Wonder-Woman.

Dan
And that, my friends, is how you do the Absorbing Man.
JasonC
Creel was great. The only reason I watched the Premiere was because of Lucy Lawless. There is now no incentive for me to continue.
Dan
Adrianne Palicki as Bobbi Morse.

Venneh
Marvel's teasing a major announcement after tonight's episode. Hm.
dc20willsave
The announcement was that next week's episode would feature the trailer for Age of Ultron.
NightAngle04
Of course Sky knows exactly what the drawing is, of course.
dc20willsave
I would have been annoyed if that wasn't immediately followed by "You're probably an alien." That and she's no longer the focus of every episode. For that matter, this is the most focus she's really gotten all season outside of being the Ward-Whisperer. I can deal with her knowing what the Alien writing is.
KnightWing
She's... kind of a good character now. It's weird.

dc20willsave
Up until last night though, The Doctor was kind of just a showy person to the background. Last week was May and Coulson, week before was Simmons in Hydra (with Sniper Skye, yes). It took five weeks for them to give Skye a Old Skye moment and it would make sense considering her father. The stuff with Skye and Ward has grown organically. Of course she would be the only one to talk to him because in his fucked up mind, they're still meant for each other. Everyone is being given a moment in the sun so she's not just the special snowflake anymore. I'll eat my words gladly if the show starts pulling the entire "Skye is the best person ever" bullshit again but the show has fundamentally changed from when that was the case last season. With the larger cast between main and recurring, they can't afford to do that. Don't get me wrong, I realize that Skye still has a long way to go before she is half as interesting as the rest of the cast but with high the quality has been this season, I feel I can afford to give it the benefit of the doubt.
