RSS
Though Shana and Mike love Moonstruck, they do disagree on one point. As they recast it, however, they agree on not one but two actors! Also, Mike's words come back to haunt him. Twice. JasonC
I will be interested to listen to this one. I love Moonstruck, most especially the kitchen scene at the end. I can even stand Nicolas Cage in this movie, which is saying a great deal.
Missy
As I teased in the copy for the show, Shana and I are split on one thing when it comes to Moonstruck: Nicolas Cage. You'll have to listen to hear who falls on what side, though.
slothian
Interesting episode to listen to, Mr & Mrs Sims, although I'm in that group of people who have never been inclined to watch Moonstruck. This episode has changed that opinion, on the grounds that my previous mindset had been "wow, Cher AND Nicolas Cage?!?!? No thanks!!!", but even so, I won't be able to contribute to the poll this time around. I'm surprised that The Crow wasn't more heavily patronised in the poll in that most all of the forum has probably watched that - if Moonstruck gets MORE responses than The Crow, I'd be utterly gobsmacked. Missy
The poll has been added. However, there are some notes about it: 01. There is no option for Ronny, because we agreed on Jake Gyllenhaal. 02. There is no option for Raymond, because we agreed on Billy Crystal. 03. And there is no option for Mona, because I conceded that, if set in the 1950s, Mona could not be played by Jennifer Hudson.
dc20willsave
It's Barbra. Of course I'm voting for her and the second that the idea of a Jewish cast was brought up while listening, she's who came to mind.
dusk20
Simply put, this Episode made me reactivate my member account so I could vote. Rachel Weisz would be a perfect fit for Loretta.
