SuaveStar
Come on you Brit/Scot, I want to land my pick already! I blame Mr Wilson for this: I was going to do Booster, then JSA, but then I realised, I suck at teams, and I saw something that said "I'd love to see that story." Edit: Fixed logo. Venneh
The New Gods Christian, you're up.
Dread
Nice! Obviously, I came very close to doing the New Gods too...and Kamandi.
Venneh
I've got IDEAS. We'll see how successful they are. I was gonna go for the Brave and the Bold if it got taken before I went. And on the last pick of the round, and Superman is still up.

JasonC
Why not just do a Beetle/Booster movie?
You Know Who
Because I want to include Maxwell Lord and Captain Atom (among others) and have picks for those two in particular.
SuaveStar
So, do you want me to name my Batman now, or should I wait for Stavros to pick his team?
You Know Who
You and the rest can go ahead; he'll catch up eventually.
SuaveStar
You and the rest can go ahead; he'll catch up eventually. Cool. Michael C Hall. He has the build to break a man in two. Yet, in Six Feet Under, he showed he could fade into the background, which is a skill Batman needs in his guise as Bruce Wayne. Plus he looks good in a suit, and has so much going on in his eyes, you know that when he's in a board meeting, he's miles away, pondering what the scum of Gotham are doing. Dread
Y'know...I kind of love it.
JasonC
He fades pretty damn well in Dexter as well...
Molly
Love Hall, I always thought he'd be a great villian for DC, but Bats is an inspired choice.
Stavros
I did think about going with Gotham Central but its a bit easy- just cast everyone from The Wire. So my pick is- The Sandman Casting- Jason Isaacs as Wesley Dodds The setting is going to be 1947, with Sandman having been a vigilante for ten years prior to the war (where he became a spy and nazi-hunter in europe) and returning to his life embittered from the war, but broken from events yet to be revealed. JasonC
Oh dammit, Stavros' pick just gave me an awesome idea for a DC movie. <sigh> Much better than Catwoman. Oh well...
Dread
Nice! I like it. A lot.
dc20willsave
Oh dammit, Stavros' pick just gave me an awesome idea for a DC movie. <sigh> Much better than Catwoman. Oh well... I have no problem with you backing out of Catwoman.
JasonC
It depends on whether Vertigo titles are allowed. I have no idea why this one didn't come to me first.
Dread
I don't care. It's not my draft, though. In other news, I believe it is still Ian's turn.
slothian
True to form with my Comic Reel-lief research, I have never read a comic in which he features and rely heavily upon wikipedia, and related sites. But this much I know about Booster Gold: He's blonde. He's Canadian. He smirks a lot (certainly in Drive). Ladies & gentlemen.....Ryan Gosling! dc20willsave
I love that so much, Ian.
Dread
I approve of the pick, but wasn't Booster born in Gotham and based in Metropolis? Gosling would be an amazing Booster Gold, though!
slothian
I approve of the pick, but wasn't Booster born in Gotham and based in Metropolis? Having revisited my sources, I think the Canadian re-tooling was a DCnU-thing - originally, he WAS from future Gotham. Accordingly, I may have to rethink my plotline of him being a disgraced Mountie....

dc20willsave
Jason, I'd say list what you want to switch to along with your lead for Catwoman. Christian can give his ruling whenever he gets the chance. Besides, none of us are casting something that will be having a primary female lead (with the possible exception of Preston or Des.) so it shouldn't interfere with any of our first picks.
