Jurassic Park 4

Recommended Posts

Kind of a zing, although it rings a tad hollow from men who will be 32 and 37 that year...

Even still, Wilson, you'll have joined The Club.

"One of us! One of us! Gooble-gobble, gooble-gobble!"

As I will have left that Club.

The zing is endorsed! Stand down Wilson!

You say that, but the endorsement comes from K-Dubs, who is usually always wrong...

To stay on topic, yes I will be 30, and after 22 years since the original (when I was 8), there'll be another Jurassic Park film.

On one hand, the whole genetically engineered super Dino seems a little weak, on the other, HolyShitDidYouSeeStarLordOnaDirtbikeWithFuckingRaptors?

Trying to figure out how 1993 CGI look better than this.

It didn't. The animatronic dinosaurs did, but the CG definitely wasn't as perfect as people remember it. This new trailer's CG is miles better than anything in the original.

Reddick family reactions:

Davin: "Ohhhhhhhh yeah!"

Cade: "Oh Dang! It's Star-Lord!"

Megan: "Who is THAT?"

Me: "That's Andy from Parks & Rec."

Megan: "What? He's ripped! We're going to see this one!"

Cade: "Mom, he's Star-Lord."

Davin: "From Guardians of the Galaxy."

Megan: "Well, we're going to watch that one too."

Davin (to me): "I think mom wants to make out with Star-Lord."

Rest in Peace Michael Crichton, for soon you will be spinning in your grave.

......

Actually I think I am going to like it. It seems to have that element of wonder that I missed in 2 and 3. Plus it seems like there aren't going to be any troodons or dinosauroids like I have heard some of the scripts were calling for.

I don't know if I'm excited about this or not. It's been so long, and the others weren't that good. I don't want to be let down. But I see Chris Pratt and it makes me want to see it. I don't really have the desire to watch more damn kids running from dinosaurs though.

Team Reddick are so awesome.

So it's a survival disaster action movie now? Okay, cool. I'm down with that. It at least makes it different from the other three.
