Despite enjoying the film, one takes issue with an unintentionally creepy subplot, while the other is uneasy with the portrayal of a racial stereotype. "They're the ones who do voodoo, right?" "I... guess? Maybe? That sounds right." Writer laziness coupled with (unfortunately accurately) the assumption that the vast majority of American moviegoers would not notice or think too much about it.
