Here's the second of three threads to determine the best Tim Burton film. Click here if you need a refresher on the rules.

And, for the record, the winner is clearly Edward Scissorhands. It is quite literally the movie that made me who I am today. Without it, I would not be a writer or obsessed with the tragic nature of life.

I think I have to watch James once more because I recall not liking it when I saw it in high school. Then again (and I openly admitted this in a review I wrote for the school paper) I unfairly went in expecting Nightmare 2, and, because of that, was sorely disappointed. The fact that it started out as live action (which I didn't expect) threw me off as well.
