  1. Viola Davis (in part because of her words about critics) and since he's making a comeback, Brendan Fraser.
  2. He's not Harvey Weinstein, Woody Allen, Mel Gibson, or Kevin Spacey, but he's problematic for at least the following reasons: I'd still love to join you for or even just listen to a Gilliam-themed episode, but I thought you should know beforehand.
  3. Would Terry Gilliam's filmography (not including Holy Grail) be eligible or is he too problematic/unlikable?
  4. Alice in Wonderland (1951) vs Trainspotting
  5. Since Pandy didn’t bite, I will: Pauly Shore-ly not.
  6. Punisher: War Zone vs Space Jam Cinderella (1950) vs Ocean’s Eleven (2001)
  7. Pat Carroll dead at 95. Not nearly as influential Nichelle Nichols or as prolific of Bernard Cribbins or David Warner, but she brought to life a definite contender for one of the best Disney villains (and screen witches) of all time and I'd love see recordings of her Falstaff someday.
  8. That's a pity because Tom and I want your opinion on a crucial legal matter in the Mr. Toad segment. The Dark Knight.
  9. Melody Time vs X-Men: The Last Stand The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr Toad vs Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street
  10. David Warner passed away at 80.
  11. Damn right! And now for some Kanto fossils, the Nidotweens, a gay Raichu couple (aka "Raichu: Love and Thunder"), and others:
  12. Make Mine Music vs Fantastic Four (2005) Fun and Fancy Free vs The Mummy Returns
  13. Having rewatched that recently in conjunction with the Obi-Wan series, I think only Liam Neeson has enough screen time in that movie to warrant its inclusion in an episode. Also, your miles may vary, but I had a hard time telling when the Queen was Natalie Portman or Keira Knightley in the scenes where Padme wasn’t present too (as apparently did one of their moms when they visited the set).
  14. Perfectly understandable. It does involve as many films as the Kubrick episode; plus, next year is the X-Men's 60th anniversary.
  15. Definitely Léon: The Professional and Black Swan, and possibly Jackie.
  16. Saludos Amigos vs American Pie The Three Caballeros vs Star Trek: The Motion Picture
  17. I’ll not throwing my hat either in just yet, but if neither Donovan, Mike, nor someone else isn’t chomping at the bit to be the third host, then I’d happy to join you, Ian and Will, as long as it’s after the Spider-Man one (one rewatch at a time). The X-Men were my gateway to the Marvel universe (via the 90s cartoon) and have been listening to a lot of CEREBRO episodes lately. While I have mixed feelings about the films as a whole, I am due for a rewatch with most of them and still haven’t seen three of them.
  18. That actually reminds of another thought I had shortly after leaving the cinema, and which I stand by a day later: I enjoyed Rise of Skywalker more than this and that's not going to get better with a second viewing either.
  19. There is supposed to be a director's cut. Also, Malcolm did say it at the end of Fallen Kingdom, so reiterating it in this film would have been a bit much (in a film that already had a lot of too much).
  20. Out of curiosity, from whom? I have seen it but bad performances rarely jump out at me during most MCU films (I'm sure they're there but the only ones I can remember at the moment are in Iron Man 3 and Thor: The Dark World). Jurassic World: Dominion: Still processing this one and glad I ended up seeing rather than skipping it and having too much of it spoiled by social media. I don't dislike it as much as Jurassic Park III (yet) and it does right some of the franchise's previous wrongs. However, there's too much in it that belongs in other movies or stories rather than in a Jurassic Park story, including O well. At least, It also finally brought feathered dinosaurs into these movies (that's not a spoiler; they were in the trailer and now the marketing), and if it keeps getting people interested in dinosaurs, then that can only be a good thing.
  21. Since you haven’t covered any Scottish actors yet and since he’s back in the spotlight again, Ewan McGregor.
  22. I've actually been rushing to catch as many DS9 episodes as possible lately before it leaves US Netflix on July 1st.
