  1. Oh, he was absolutely amazing in it. He carried that entire thing on his shoulders.
  2. The Interview: The Australian 1998 one, not the 2014 American one. It's a bit of a boilerplate thriller, nothing too special. Films Watched: 60
  3. That, and because of my autism, I have trouble with audio processing at times, so I don't really blame you guys too much.
  4. Also, quick question, mostly because I'm curious: who was Pandy's first choice? I couldn't really make it out.
  5. So I've finished God of War yesterday, and I've got a few thoughts on it. From a pure story standpoint, it's a very good soft reboot of Kratos and the God of War (no pun intended) mythos. The voice acting was good, the action and combat were excellent, and overall, I had fun playing it and experiencing it. Now, as for the elephant in the room: Does this game manage to redeem Kratos, and is he worth redeeming? Now, let me start this off by saying that my only experience with the franchise previous to this game was watching a let's play years and years ago. Basically, I was coming to this game with only the loosest ideas of who Kratos was as a person. That said, I think that this game absolutely makes Kratos into, if nothing else, someone who is believable. Personally, I found him to be very sympathetic, and someone who was realistically flawed, and realistically scarred from the experiences and horrors that plagued his life.
  6. Normal reaction: This is an awesome costume, and I'm excited for this film. My other reaction: I'm Extremely Bisexual And Want Captain Marvel To Punch Me.
  7. BlackKKKlansman: This is an incredibly necessary film in today's climate. Incredibly necessary. Films Watched: 59
  8. The Thing: Hot damn, but Carpenter was amazing at his fuckin' peak. Films Watched: 58

  12. A History of Violence: First time viewing. Cronenberg continues to prove to me why he's so good at what he does with this film. Films Watched: 55
  13. In Bruges: This is a very good movie. Films Watched: 54
  14. In the Mouth of Madness: This film is a mess, but it's a thoroughly entertaining mess. In my opinion, it's also Carpenter's last truly good movie as well. Films Watched: 53
  15. Recently, I've started reading through the Dark Tower books. Right now I'm on The Waste Lands, and I really wish people knew King more for stuff like this than his horror stuff. Also, I recently read one of the Miriam Black books by Chuck Wendig, Thunderbirds. Really solid work right there.
  16. Akira: First-time viewing. This movie has clearly been stolen from, but I think it's aged pretty well, all things considered. The voice acting's a bit dated, but other than that, it's all solid. Films Watched: 52
  17. I will say, it does look extremely good, if nothing else.
