I think that's something they'll have to be able to do in a JLA movie. If they don't do the kind of setup Marvel did, it'll be a bigger challenge to pull off. Don't get me wrong, I want a JLA movei, but I also want a good one.
The movie was really creepy, and completely at odds with the feel of the original. On the other hand, it had a lot of dark elements to it that were in the original Oz book written by L. Frank Baum. It's an interesting conrast on that basis alone.
I can't read any of these other posts without thinking about that "Avengers envy" comment some time back. Unless they can at least reach the scope and quality of that film, a JLA movie runs a great risk of being a mess.
I have an aunt who's in her 80's who was recently diagnosed with lymphoma. She's just gone through her second round of chemo. I hate seeing her that ill.
I despise the constant and often inaccurate cries of racism in this country, especially in sports. So when I say that there's a massive racist bias against Asian athletes, I really do mean it. And to use a phrase like "Chink in the Armor"there's no way that was a mistake. It's disgraceful.
