The New Guy (1/8)

  1. After thinking about it for a while, I voted for Obi-Wan Kenobi. Yoda has to use a lot of the Force just to get around, and would tire out eventually. Obi-Wan just keeps on going without thinking about quitting, and would eventually find a weakness in Yoda. So I'm going against what is said in my avatar, and voting for Obi-Wan.
  2. This is tough. Right now, I'm leaning towards Yoda, but I know there is a case for Kenobi as well. I'm going to think about this a little bit longer, and see if anybody makes a good case for Obi-Wan.
  3. Despite Luke's heart and spirit, he didn't have the same amount of experience or knowledge of the Force as Yoda did. I honestly think Luke would be determined enough to give Yoda a challenge, but in the end, Yoda would eventually win the duel.
  4. I ended up voting for Obi-Wan. Kenobi knew what frustrated Vader, which could end up throwing Darth Vader off of his game.
  5. I'm not going to vote yet because I need some time to think about it more, but right now I'm leaning towards Obi-Wan Kenobi. But just because he beat Vader in their first fight, and allowed Vader to kill him in their second doesn't necessarily mean that Kenobi owns Vader in this one.
  6. Yoda would absolutely own Darth Maul! Maul's overconfidence is what led to his death, and Yoda would sense that right away. I don't think this fight would last very long.
  7. I agree with almost everything Cash said. Windu didn't have Palpatine beat in Episode III. Sidious was simply stalling it out so Anakin could turn to the Dark Side. That's not to say that Windu couldn't beat Sidious in a straight up fight, he just didn't in Episode III. I'm voting for Sidious. In a one-on-one fight, he's just too powerful for Luke Skywalker.
  8. Although Dooku appeared to be more powerful in Episodes II and III, I'm still voting for Obi-Wan. I think in a one on one battle with no distractions, Obi-Wan would be able to kill Tyrannus, though it would be a challenge.
  9. I think it's pretty close, but I voted for Darth Vader. Vader wasn't a very emotional guy when he was fighting in the OT, so I think he would be calm enough to find an opening to destroy Windu.
