  1. Talk about a monster bump! I rented the game two days ago. I can't stop playing it either.
  2. You're right about that. Ugh, I was actually pretty shocked when they showed the puppet strings. The only thing that I can say is a close rival to setting a precident for deaths is Friday the 13th. I wish they didn't do it too much. Some humor is good, especially when the character is so despicable, but like you said, they tend to overdo it. What I used to tell my friends is that Freddy was the awesomest of the horror villians because not only did he kill you in grotesque ways, he made you laugh while he did it!
  3. Mmm... Three (it was Dream Warriors wasn't it?) was pretty damn entertaining. That's where the humor that I was talking about started to come out (if I'm remembering correctly). This is where voting critieria comes into play. Do you go with what movie you thought was the best, or what entertained you the most? Can we just agree that Freddy's Dead wasn't up to snuff? I can see you and I really getting into discussions on this stuff Yoda
  4. I understood the movie, but it didn't scare me at all. I actually thought the ending was more cool than it was scary. Man, what a good ending to a movie. There is one horror movie that has ever scared me and if it's ever mentioned, I'll fess up.
  5. Nightmare on Elm Street. I did like when Freddy started to show signs of a sense of humor later on in the series, but this was what made him. It's just so damn innovative. This is in my top five favorite movies. Not to mention, I hate Johnny Depp and we know what happens to him...

    Xenosaga Fans . .

Somewhere... I just heard James' head explode.
  7. I'm digging Gordon, but I'm really not digging the Batmobile.

    Kingdom Hearts II

Robin freaking Hood. Sherwood Forest and Nottingham would be off the freaking hook. Something with Monster's Inc. would be pretty interesting too methinks.
  9. What the Admin said.
  10. That's one of the things I mentioned in the review; I didn't experience the multiplayer. However, I'm of the belief that multiplayer should be secondary to the single player, especially in a game like that. A great multiplayer mode can enhance a great single player game (such as Halo or Goldeneye) but it can't salvage a horrendous one. drq Totally with you. That's part of the reason why I have a hard time defending the game... terrible single play.
  11. Where the fluck is SeaQuest DSV??? Holy shit that thing was insanely good.
  12. Come on drq, you have to give love to the multiplayer...
  13. Conker BFD Multiplayer was the fucking shit. It's my favorite mp ever.
  14. I'm always more interested in something Nintendo puts out. Call me close minded, but it's true.
  15. Say that to me after I run your ass down in a tank. Touche mi gordo amigo.
  16. I'll chime in here with a little experience. I'm a black belt in karate and we had to choose a weapon to be trained fully in (we learned a little on everything), I chose the sai. I had to spar with somebody who was trained on kitana blades. Now, the sai that I was using was only 21 inches long (that includes hilt) whereas the kitana blades are easily 28 inches... just in the blade. So, if you look at the size comparison alone, I should easliy have got my ass handed to me. I disarmed him. Conclusion? It doesn't matter how big the weapon is if you know how to use it.
  17. Pht. Jean Grey owns that fight. For this poll though it's Cyclops.
  18. I didn't even realize that it was on Master System! I learn something new every day!
  19. Vader would whoop dat ass.
  20. I meant to vote Invisible Man, but I fucking clicked Flash... curses...
  21. You probably would have been able to beat TMNT sooner if you were able to use a code similar to Contras. When I said 3 months, I meant that I beat it without the Konami code in three months. With the Konami code... it was done within a day.
  22. X-Men 2 was amazing. I called my friend at 1 a.m. to tell him how awesome it was. We went and saw it the next day again.
  23. I had Contra beaten within three months of getting it, without constant playing. I didn't beat TMNT until at least six months after I got it, with constant playing. TMNT gets my vote.
  24. Yes, but not without going through it with the Konami Code a couple times. I'm with DJ though. The original TMNT was by far the hardest game that I ever played for the 8 bit system.
