  1. I hadn't really thought about it but as much as I like some of the Doctor Who music it would be nice to see what someone else would do in the role. And I agree more is less Murray Gold has a tendecny to sometimes make it over powerful. Silence can sometimes be just as powerful as music and I'd like to see them use it sometimes.
  2. And suddenly it's looking potentially possible again. Honestly, after all this, I really hope they're real because they're going to get one fucking awesome special feature out of it all. So the BBC have responded http://www.bleedingcool.com/2013/06/19/bbc-officially-responds-to-bleeding-cool-over-doctor-who-rumours/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter
  3. Happy Birthday from a (currently-not-wet-and-actually-very-sunny-it's-a-once-in-a-lifetime-moment) Wales
  4. So 8 years ago today we said goodbye to the 9th Doctor. He wasn't the most doctorish Doctor but in my mind he still ranks up there by the top. (7/11, 9/4/10 - being my top five and they change order whenever someone asks) I love his stories and he holds a special place in my heart as he was my first. I just want to say thank you and you were 'fantastic!'
  5. Um... we think it's our turn now, can someone confirm?
  6. *says quietly* I like Brighton, it's my local beach
  7. Rosie and I are finished, any supporting characters will be people from the Highlanders.
  8. So as a bit of fun, if the Doctor asked you to go with him and gave you a bag to put your things in what would three items you pack to go travelling round the universe and saving planets with. I would take a camera, comfy trainers and a coat that fans out behind me when I run so I look impressive.
  9. And we'll finish by taking the Battle of Culloden. Full marks to anyone who knows where and what time it is
  10. The Monk (and with that we are safe and can start writing our story. The chances of our time/place being picked are stupidly low and pretty much impossible)
  11. I really don't want a female doctor, I think it would change the way the show worked too much for a male character to become female. I think it's just people who only casually watch the show who think it might be a good idea most of the people I talk to who are fans of Doctor Who are against it. And that's not because we're sexist it's simple because the Doctor is a male character and even though theorectically he could be female I don't think he ever should be. Saying the next Doctor should be female is the same as saying James Bond should be female.
  12. They have to have been cast already because they start filming series 8 within a month. But I mantain it woul;d be stupid to reveal who nubmer 12 is going to be before the 50th anniversairy. The build up and suspension should be about Novemeber's special, not about whose coming after.
  13. Adric as a villian - WOW that's amazing. And you've killed Rosie, she can't stop laughing.
  14. Nice pick Dan. Very nice pick, your TARDIS crew looks amazing!
  15. We wanted Ianto from the beginning, and I was really scared when I saw DC had written Cardiff
  16. Ianto There are some really interesting picks happening
  17. Wow, I wasn't expecting to see that when we got home! It'll be interesting to see what happens as I'm starting to get tired of the 11th Doctor. I'd like to see an older Doctor again, but I trust the BBC to make the right choice. And yeah it'd be cool if the 12th Doctor was hanging around in the 50th but we didn't know it till afterwards - someone you don't even realise is on screen until you know to look out for him. Quick question though, Dan and Mike are you annoyed that you recorded BOTI early? You seem to have missed the big Doctor Who news...
  18. And for the sceond pick we'll take Jamie. (Rosie would kill me if we didn't)
  19. Just want to jump in here and say sorry, I've been working on my last essay for uni this year and Rosie and I have been in rehearsal for our show all week. We'll keep on top of this next time.
  20. If Rosie and I can do it together (so uni work doesn't become too much) - we're in
  21. Ok, so that was quite frankly brilliant and genuis and all bow to Moffat for giving us this episode. This episode reminded me as to why he was in charge and why we all had trust in him when he started. Not that I thought he'd completly lost it before this point just that it was most obvious in this episode
  22. So I loved that episode, Gaiman is amazing and in my mind he filled his brief of making the Cybermen scary again. The two kids weren't brilliant, actors or characters but it didn't stop me enjoying the episode, I will definitely go back and rewatch this episode as I know there is more to find on the second and third watch.
