  1. Under 10 million? So no special effects? Spawn hardly in the movie? Why not change it to Sam and Twitch and get it over with?
  2. I'm glad they cast someone besides the guy in Smallville. He couldn't act his way out of a paper bag.
  3. For those that think the above picture isn't legit. http://spiderman.sonypictures.com/ By the way, the daily bugle cover they use looks like my "Times Scare" copy hanging on my wall. Maybe they plan to sell this one too.
  4. I had a long rant about this but decided against posting it. It all comes down to the parents don't know/care about what their kids are doing. I work with kids every day from 5 to 19 and if their parents knew as much about their lives as I do, they would never let them leave the house. The current rating system works, but the parents in this country don't care enough to use it, and that's part of a far bigger problem than any video game. Jmarv I like your quote but lets update it "The first thing we do, let's shoot all the lawyers." - Dick Cheney.
  5. A few of things off the top of my head: 1. I agree that Lana is a waste of space on the show. The problem is that they didn't plan far enough ahead when they started the show. They ran out of things to do with her. The same thing happened to Pete, and they took the easy way out and got rid of him. The problem is that everyone knows how Lana's life turns out, and that she doesn't end up with Clark. They need to end the on again off again romance since we all know it doesn't work out. Originally she was a great character because she was the unattainable object of Clark's affection. The problems started when they had her love him back. 2. Your theory about Chloe becoming Lois doesn't make sense. Wouldn't Clark/Superman call her Chloe instead of Lois when they are together? It would seem kind of morbid to take a dead relative's name too(assuming Lois dies). 3. I do believe the episodes are all leading up to a showdown with Zod. They have mentioned him a couple of times now. I think they'll bring back Flash, Aquaman, and Cyborg just to have the "JLA feel' to the episode. 4. The reason Nancy Cartwright didn't get a vote is because she is Bart Simpson, and that's all she is known for. The 2 top vote getters are the kind of people that when you hear their voices you can name a handful of things they have done. With Nancy Cartwright, you say that's Bart Simpson and.....Bart Simpson. That's it for now. Good work on the show. I'm not really looking forward to the vampire episode but you know I'll be listening anyway.
  6. I saw this movie at WalMart today so go get it.
  7. In the new Game Informer they have pictures of the new levels. There is Tron, Lion King, and Pirates of the Carribean. You all got your wishes.
  8. In the movie Janet talks about how young Cap looks. I think he is supposed to be 18 or 19. In WWII alot of the soldiers were really young. I really liked most of the characters, except Black Widow and Betty Ross. Black Widow didn't really fit in with the rest of the team, and Betty was kind of bitchy. Wasp and Giant Man were perfect, and Thor was good. The end fight was better than most I've seen. Lets just say the Hulk kicks ass.
  9. I Managed to see this movie in a undisclosed location, and I loved every minute of it. It has some of the best animation I've ever seen this side of the Pacific. I'll admit, I've never read the Ultimate line, so the story doesn't make much sense, but that's ok. I'm not going to write a review because that's not my thing, but go buy this when it comes out.
  10. Our sun is red? Yeah, what are you smoking? Give me a break it's late. Their sun was red, and ours is yellow, hence the powers. My point was that they changed the way he got them.
  11. oops, you are right about the alien part. It was the part about our red sun giving him powers that was different. Originally Kryptonians were evolved to super beings. I don't know what I was smoking when I wrote that.
  12. yep, I couldn't think of anything hard.
  13. D.C. has a good way of solving this problem. They relaunch their universe every once in awhile to keep up with the "real world". Superman has had many different origins. He wasn't an alien, and he couldn't fly when he was first launched. Everyone wanted to know why he had super powers so they just re-told his origin, and changed it to answer the questions. Marvel doesn't do this, so if taken as whole runs, their books don't make sense. instead of making sweeping changes to everything at once, they make small changes to each book. Charles Xavier for example, fought in the Korean war originally, and they recently changed it to Vietnam(with Logan even).
  14. I've played almost every Zelda game(some of tham many times), so I picked up the Minnish Cap and a friend of mine asked if all the games take place in the same world. I assumed they all took place in the same world thousands of years apart from each other. I just assumed Link, Zelda, and Gannon were all reborn to do battle once again. Alot of the games have the same basic layout on the worldmap. The mountains are usually on the top of the map, either middle or left. The name Hyrule is always the name of the land or town. Windwaker would be the Waterworld version.
  15. In what country does Resident Evil 4 take place?
  16. If you do it without mentioning Anne Rice's books, then I will be dissapointed.
  17. I just don't get the Mario Kart hysteria. It's a freaking cartoon go-cart game. The Mortal Kombat series is past it's prime, but it made a huge impact on the video gaming world.
  18. That's a good poll. My sentimental favorite is Cree Summer for her work on so many shows I used to watch. She was on Camp Candy for God's sake! My vote had to go to Tara Strong though cause Raven's voice makes me tingle
  19. I see a huge crossover storyline on Raw soon. I don't know if it's a good idea for the WWE to get into movies though. They are holding back their stars by making them play roles as their characters. They could have at least billed him as his real name. Are they afraid people will start leaving like the Rock did?

    PS3 news

Slightly more powerful in terms of raw power, yes. The difference is in the GPU, and the RAM. Sony scaled back the clock speed of the cell from that was originally announced too. Add to the fact that the PS3 is still only numbers on paper and we still don't know. The fact that Sony people working with the system say that it's not as good as the 360 is huge.

    PS3 news

Well, it's getting closer to release in Japan and we still don't know anything. A poll was done in Japan and most people think it's coming out this Christmas(it's supposed to be in March). Also, a guy was fired for doing an interview where he talked about the PS3 and how people working for Sony say it's not as good as the XBox360, and that it is nowhere near ready to launch. He also said that the game he was working on is a rushed title that is not next gen at all. People have narrowed it down by what he said and the game might be Killzone 2. You said what? Your fired!
  22. I have love for Phantasm in a "B" movie way, and ofcourse the Tall Man rocks. It was my favorite when I was a kid, before all the sequels. To be honest, I don't watch many horror movies anymore. They are all too predictable.
  23. Comedy: Clerks Sci-Fi: Star Wars 4-6 (I count them as one) Horror: Phantasm Drama: Hope and Glory Action: Die Hard Animated: The Lion King Fantasy: The Fellowship of the Ring Musical: South Park Bigger Longer and Uncut (yes it is considered a musical by the creators)
