  1. This week on Dread Media, Desmond welcomes back filmmaker and comic writer Phil Mucci of Diabolik Films. This time, we're discussing the latest adventures of Professor Dario Bava: Orgy of the Blood Freaks #1 (crowdfunding now here), working with artistic legends and trying to launch a comic book in a pandemic. Phil has directed videos by some of our favorite bands, so we're playing some of those songs: "Fertile Green" by High on Fire, "Sorrow" by Huntress, and "The Duke (of Supernature)" by Monster Magnet. 3. It's October, and the next installment of the Flickchart Forum is the Hellraiser franchise! Four theatrically released films and six films simply released into the ether, Ian Wilson and his panel go through the various offerings involving demonic puzzle-boxes, Cenobites, and flying hooked-chains. And to assist him / tactically boost interest in the segment, Ian brings together the podcasting masterminds of Jim Moon and Desmond Reddick! [ 2:04:42 || 61.6 MB ]

  5. This week on Dread Media, Desmond is frustrated with a double feature of films with a trope he can't stand anymore. Thankfully, Tom is there to help him through it. First, a film censor keeping the public safe from video nasties goes through some stuff in Censor. Then, is a comic book at fault for the vicious murders in Random Acts of Violence? Probably. Songs included: "Nasty" by The Damned, "Stabbing Nightmare" by Video Nasties, "Follow the Blood" by Cannibal Corpse, and "The Void from Which No Sound Escapes" by Rivers of Nihil. 6. Dan and Mike open the show with a little news. Russell T. Davies is returning to Doctor Who. WHA?! What does this mean for the show, are the guys excited, and does it mean the return of DVD commentaries? Also: The Doctor and chums discover an ancient Kaled scout on Earth, and it's bonded itself to a human host ("Resolution"). (Note: This was recorded before the news of Flux was revealed.) 7. The Flickchart Forum makes its triumphant return with Ian Wilson inviting back Pandy and, for the first time, Will Ackerman, to rank the eight theatrically released Muppet movies. There are insights into The Brothers Wilson's history with the franchise, as well as Father Wilson's favorite Muppet, whilst Will confirms his own gateway and why one particularly set of cameos in Muppets from Space didn't shock him. But what is the best Muppet film? Listen in to find out! [ 1:43:45 || 52.0 MB ]
