Actually, I believe it could also be cheaper to print Graphic Novel then say, Four Issue Comic Book Limited Series* in advertisments *I believe 300 was four issues, I may be wrong. Doesn't make it right, but it could be another reason.

Just saw the movie about an half an hour ago. Man the action scenes were awesome and the comic-esque narration didn't detract from the movie at all (not that I was expecting it to). Also, did anyone else see the Spider-Man 3 trailer with a couple of Venom shots in it?

Do you have an HD monitor? Becasue I don't and basically the ame thing happend for me. My best guess is that Venom will appear only in the tail end of the film to set up #4. note: Yeah I know that Tobey said that this would be his last film, but as I recall X2 was supposed to be Halle Berry's last X-film, So, I take it with a grain of salt.

Just saw the film this afternoon and thought it was above average. My only real complaint is the when in Rider form, Johnny Blaze got just a tad too quipy in his first scenes. Sam Elliot was the best part in my book.

Yeah, it's being done by the guys who did 2 Fast 2 Furious. Don't freak out though, from what I've read the original script to 2F2F was a whole lot better than the final product.

You know, I don't think this movie could be made. Here are my reasons: 1. None of the actresses rumored to be interested in playing WW could physicaly fit the role: Let's face it, in the comics, WW is 6'3. Every actress that gets mentioned tends to fall into the 5'0 to 5'5 range. That is just not gonna fly. Logically speaking, I don't think you can cast lower than 5'9 and convince people that this is Wonder Woman. 2. WW has arguably the worst rogues gallery around: Obviously you can use the Greek Dieties or Nazis (if you want to be like the TV show), but then what? Do you really think that people are going to plok down $10-20 to see WW fighting Cheetah or Giganta. Probably not.

Honestly, who is really to blame for this? the cops or Time Warner

Yep. It always boggles my mind how horribly his movies do in theatres, but he still makes shitloads of money off of DVD sales. How is that possible? Why are people refusing to pay $5-10 to see to it in a theatre, but forking out $20+ for a DVD??? :youlose: Easy, their children are MORONS! who think that because the movie is based off a popular video game (oh wait, we're not supposed to call them that now are we ) that it must be cool. So, the nag and nag and nag their parents until they buckle down and get them the stupid-ass movie And we wonder why test scores are always in the crapper.

And now it's a 5-issue miniseries

Man, I am excited for this. I remember hearing that Carrel had signed on for it after Anchorman came out. Now, if we could just get the original series out on DVD without having to contact those Time/Life people.

I have to wonder. With the show now being tied to the WWE. Is the winner going to get their own Sci-Fi Channel movie like last time? Or, are they just going to be a jobber on the ECW program?
