You listen to the Flickchart Forum episode we did last year on the Spidey flicks?
Half of it is Don talking about Macy Gray and "you people".

Put me on the list! Not sure for what, but you'll think of something.

It's pretty strange.
Wait, I'm being lambasted for theoretically being unenthused about a hypothetical film experiment that I only read about seconds ago?!
I like the idea....meanie....

Yes, you can help influence not only the film Pandy & I use as the joint review, but the homework we assign each other to plot the range of their career. As announced in Episode 96, our subject will be Ben Affleck.
Pandy & I will take an executive decision on what makes the joint review by 22 September 2023 so get your ideas in before then!
NB) We won't be covering Armageddon, Daredevil, Shakespeare in Love or any DCEU movies he's in.

Well, there's a Pandy-authored blurb if ever I saw one...

I'll add it to the list of talking points....

Sean Ross Sapp is reporting:
It's for this general reason that I am glad that Keith Lee, who was similarly affected by COVID, is being allowed to wrestle at his own pace rather than risk his health. And to make myself clear, in no way am I blaming WWE for Wyatt's heart attack or suggesting he wasn't looked after post-COVID - the "sloppy shop" criticism during the pandemic is separate & valid - it's just that long COVID is a thing and wrestlers need to be super careful as a consequence.
Bray's death is obviously a tragedy and the tributes on Twitter (like fuck am I calling it X) show that he was a universally loved human being. His passing directly after that of Funk is a pretty hard blow for wrestling in the run up to All In.

Safe to assume Fantasia 2000 is not something many people have watched (myself included).

That sounds like there's a story there...
Memento vs The Shawshank Redemption

I think the Oppenheimer names you've listed are locks.
I am going to watch Barbie as well, although my cinema buddy is booked up until sometime next week.

Mulan (1998) vs A Knight’s Tale
Probably A Knight's Tale, but both need a rewatch.
The Exorcist vs The Godfather
Pretty straightforward, that one...

Not often that I show up in this thread, but Oppenheimer is in the conversation for Nolan's best film. And I know he has a pretty solid body of work, but having seen all of it (except Tenet, and arguably Interstellar [viewing was impaired]), I am pretty happy to say it's up there.
I don't want this to prejudge anyone's viewing, of course!

Bingo! Se7en at least gives you an idea of where her career was going to head. Hook, she's basically just standing in a boxed set.
Beautifully done!

I can attest to this fact. I rewatched Hook last year for @Donomark and I’s Peter Pan review and completely forgot she was in it.
Easily done!

Same with Seven, that's not a showcase for her.
She's third-billed in Seven. Whether or not her role in that film is a showcase is a separate argument, but it's at the very least more than a 3 second showing of turning around and exclaiming "Peter!"

Looking at her filmography, I was surprised to discover how little of her work I've seen. Outside of her Marvel role, it's only five other movies: Hook, Seven, Shakespeare in Love, The Royal Tenenbaums, and Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow.
And you can't really call her contribution to Hook to be much of anything.
