  1. Yes, you can help influence not only the film Pandy & I use as the joint review, but the homework we assign each other to plot the range of their career. As announced in Episode 95, our subject will be Gwyneth Paltrow. Pandy & I will take an executive decision on what makes the joint review by 22 July 2023 so get your ideas in before then!
  2. I think you, of all people, would know the extent to which Disney sanitises the source material of their animated film adaptations. Zeus raping everything in sight just wasn't going to fly....
  3. Sorry, too long since I've seen either. And you presume correctly! In Bruges vs Some Like It Hot
  4. Consider the episode plugged on the next HAA! Granted, it hasn't been edited down fully yet, but by jingo when it gets published...
  5. Good show! Only half-listened to Midsommar to make the spoilers easier to forget if I ever get round to watching it, but a round-table on The Wicker Man is always welcome!

  7. Haven't seen Hunchback in a while, but I'm going to say DKR. Not by much, but the acting and effects make up for the defincies in the story.

  9. All of the above, plus: Monty Python's Life of Brian vs Ghostbusters Hot Fuzz vs In Bruges The Wicker Man (original) vs The Dark Knight
  10. Empire Strikes Back is also an unfinished story; I reject that line of criticism. Yet to see the new Spider-verse film.

  20. Re: Christian's assertion that Gaston is the only villain to have two songs, Governor Radcliffe has "Mine, Mine, Mine" and "Savages", whereas Ratigan has "The World's Greatest Criminal Mind" and "Goodbye, So Soon"
  21. ooooooooooooohhhhhh......... I'm going to say The Mummy on the basis it's almost a live-action cartoon that captured lightning in a bottle. Aladdin is a favourite Disney movie but I'm going to have to hear POYW to confirm why it should be, objectively, considered top tier.
  22. Thanks both! Small as we may be, it's a testament to this community that we can get together and chat about something without it decending into toxicity. ....unless people are sensitive about age jokes, of course!
  23. Spider-Man 3 vs League of Extraordinary Gentlemen
