My buddy Joe surprised me by bringing back the F4 DVD from San Diego for my birthday, and Autumn bought me original artwork from a cover of Flaming Carrot Comics, which is totally killer. So I basically got all the goodies I'll ever need from ComicCon without going this year. Muhahahaaa

The unreleased Fantastic Four film (1994) on DVD. (Expect a review soon.)
I hope the picture quality's better than the bootleg VHS version I picked up there four or five years ago. Still, dark video or not, that's one hilarious film. The final scene, with Mr. Fantastic waving goodbye, is awesomely bad.

Those He-Man busts are the shizzle.

My fiance is there on business, marketing to the different publishers and whatnot. I'm incredibly envious.

Thus far, it's the GTA series. But FFX is damn close.

Don't waste your time with Final Fantasy V. Worst title of the lot.
FFIV and FFVI, though, are solid. And I loved Zombies Ate my Neighbors, too.
Super Metroid is godly.

Bendis said in the letters column to the new first issue that Image will continue printing all the old TPBs and Marvel will print the new ones.

Aside from the ignorant comment that Nicholson wasn't a great Joker (which is an outstandingly poor call) I can't say I disagree with the bulk of that article. It's like he wrote an interesting outside-looking-in review of Spider-Man 2, but then figured he didn't do anything sensational enough to merit big attention and tacked on a couple paragraphs of comic culture hate just to get under some people's skin. Whatever.

I've heard good things about the remixed music... might think about picking it up, yep.

I never read 300, but had meant to. Is it worth a purchase?

If the game companies use the advertisers' dollars to reduce the price of new games, I'm all for it. If they use them to line their pockets... well, just don't charge more than fifty bucks, k?

Bryan Singer is redoing Logan's Run?
Am I alone in losing all interest in the Dark Phoenix storyline? Seems like every story ever involving Jean has hinted toward, if not completely rehashed, this old-ass story. It was tremendous when first released, but come on... after seeing it again half a dozen times, I'm ready for something different.
Even Days of Future Past would be better than another Phoenix story.

Who's dick is Hayden Christenson sucking right now? That guy is PITIFUL, yet he keeps coming up in these high profile roles...

Good god, they're riding this gravy train all the way into the ground.
I would not pay fifty cents to see film adaptations of Man-Thing, Elektra, Fantastic Four, Iron Man, Namor, Ghost Rider, Silver Surfer, Nick Fury, Captain America or Deathlok. I just wouldn't. Stick with what's working and don't flood the market, you dipshits.

(incidentally, I've got a bootleg copy of the original Fantastic Four movie... which I love dearly)

Tingle wasn't really a big deal if you never used the GBA functionality. He was just this annoying guy on a deserted island somewhere. When you tried two-player, though.... oh man.
"HEYYYYYYY!!!" "HEYYYYYYY!!!" "HEYYYYYYY!!!" "HEYYYYYYY!!!" "HEYYYYYYY!!!" "HEYYYYYYY!!!" "HEYYYYYYY!!!" "HEYYYYYYY!!!" "HEYYYYYYY!!!" "HEYYYYYYY!!!"
The GBA player had the ability to force the GC player to stop moving entirely and look around like an ass with just a push of the button. I did that about four times before Autumn yanked the connection cable out of the Cube and went on about her business.
Besides, navi died in the switch from N64 to GameCube. I'm betting Tingle will bite it, too. They'll just replace him with another annoying, vocal character that everybody hates.

I met Bendis in San Diego a couple times, when he was promoting Torso and he was every bit as friendly / funny as you'd think he is from his letters pages. Really, I wasn't that into him as a writer until I talked with him and he convinced me I HAD to buy the first issue of Torso. I bought it, read it that night and came back to buy the rest of the series the next day. I've been a fan ever since.
I'll buy UFF, but I'm disappointed the entire creative team is leaving after just one story arc. Why can't Adam Kubert just pick a book and stay on it?

Do they still have the rights to Monsters Inc now that Pixar's gone? I think they do, but I'm just curious...
I'd like them to stick with the classics. Old Disney villains are still whupass.

Alan Moore is probably my favorite writer of all time, but he doesn't measure up to Dark Knight Returns. Killing Joke felt like just another Batman story, just with a little more permanent of a repercussion. TDKR was a phenomenon and shaped the entire comic scene for the rest of the 80s and most of the 90s.

Come on drq, you have to give love to the multiplayer...
That's one of the things I mentioned in the review; I didn't experience the multiplayer. However, I'm of the belief that multiplayer should be secondary to the single player, especially in a game like that. A great multiplayer mode can enhance a great single player game (such as Halo or Goldeneye) but it can't salvage a horrendous one.

I personally loved the game, but I know there a are a few people who weren't too fond of it*D drqshadow comes to mind*.
Conker was an abomination.

I just bought an SP last year. I'm not buying another handheld for a long-ass time.

The question doesn't ask you if you're gonna buy one of them at any points, it's just which one of these have your interest the most. The PSP fancy graphics? DS interesting concept?
As for the Eve system, I'll wait till they show off a game/s that catch my interest. Do they even have anything announced for it(Game wise, that is)?
The Eve system plays PC games. So you could say it's a portable Phantom.
If I've gotta answer the question, I'm more interested in the PSP. But that interest is fairly low.

Books that need to come back...

Shade: The Changing Man needs to come back. Good, good stuff filled with Bachalo goodness.
I never want to see Rob Leifeld working again. Every single book he's touched has been full of bullsuckiness.
