Venom. The setup for Venom used in Ultimate Spider-Man would work well too. He could find the box while helping his Aunt move in to her apartment. But since Raimi apparently doesn't like Venom: the Lizard. I know he sucks, but they've already insinuated that Connors is fairly close to Parker (in a mentor/student way), so it could work.

If you do a Google search for the product and put "support" by it, you should be able to glean something from Googles cached version of it. It may not be much more than an email address or phone number, but it's better than nothing.

If I were you, I'd probably snag a Lite-On DVD+/-R/RW drive, and then a TV Tuner card or an external TV Tuner (I'd go with ATI personally, but there are other good TV Tuner options, I say Lite-On for the burner just because they're cheap and well supported). You'll probably need a lot of hard drive room, probably 10 gigs or so per tape (its not that bad, you just capture the video from the tape, compress the files, and burn it to DVD). This option is cheaper than a set-top box and you'll have a DVD burner for other large computer files. This option will also let you create better menu's; but that's relatively minor unless you have multiple shows on one tape. The drawback is compatibility. Some (set-top) DVD players don't play burned DVD's at all, and some only play +'s and some only -'s. If you've got a friend with a DVD burner, buy him a couple of discs (a +R/RW and a -R/RW) and get him to make you some test discs to find out what your player can play. One of the big tape sites (I think its Smart Mark, but I'm not sure) has a list of what DVD players can play their DVD-R's, and if your player is listed, you can just use that type of disks. Otherwise you're going to have to check some other way. If you go the set-top box route, I think it's just as simple as pressing record (I think). You also don't have the compatibility issues as you could just use it to replace your current DVD player and (when you've finished you're conversions) your VCR, and play the movies on the Burner. It is however, more expensive. I don't really know of any ultra superb DVD burners, but if you've got the dough, snag one with a built in TiVo. All in all I think it depends on your budget, and how often you use your VCR. If you tape things a lot and have no way of getting the television directly to your PC for TiVo like functionality (and subsequent burning), then go set-top, it will most likely be worth it. If the only thing you use your VCR for now is wrestling videos, then I'd go the cheaper route, as it doesn't seem that you would get much more mileage out of a set-top box.

On the Disc Doctor thing, I have a friend that swears by them. I've never seen it actually screw up a disc, and it has worked some small miracles, but 90% of the time it does nothing. Anyway: Half-Life 2. Though at this point its more of getting my PC strong enough to run it.

Ehh, it sucks, but its not the end of the world. The RIAA has been scanning Suprnova for awhile (my roommate got busted, but Universal didn't press charges). Just find smaller sites that focus on what you're looking for, they tend to be more private (and better regulated with seeding/leeching ratios). The downside is that was the best place to go for all purpose torrenting. Kinda like if my Super Wal-Mart shut down. Really, it wouldn't be that bad, but it'd be a bitch of an inconvience to have to go to 4 or 5 stores instead of 1.

The answer to the previous question is Hajime Saitoh. Nearly everything about the character (except for his involvement in the fictional events of the series of course), are designed to be exactly like the historic Saitoh. The smoking habit might be fiction, though its never recorded whether or not he was a smoker. Fun Fact: Nearly every major Kenshin character who seems to wield some influence is based off of a historical figure. Only Saitoh's matches up perfectly however. Anyway, since nobody seems to be able to answer my questions (and I'm on a Kenshin kick so this probably won't change), somebody else can step up.

Vivendi Universal Games (notably publish Blizzard and Valve) - Wouldn't care if they shut down because Valve is more or less publishing their own games now (and winning the court case surrounding it) and Blizzard could very easily find a new publisher, or just go Valve's route. Also, Vivendi sucks. The other is Rockstar Games. One of the more profitable publishers, despite having only released like 2 games in the past year (GTA:SA and Red Dead Revolver). EDIT: I guess Atari does too. But its hard to tell sometimes. EDIT Redux: Make that 3 for Rockstar, forgot about Manhunt. It'll be 4 once Midnight Club 3 is released.

What strategies do they employ? Are they camping bastards with their Sniper rifles? Are they rocket whores? Or do they just seem to get lucky shots off? Here's a couple of helpful hints: Jump. A lot. I don't like this strategy on the PC, but the XBox doesn't have a mouse. Go all bunny style on them. If they do so love the sniper rifle, just take note of where the shot came from. They're moving from that spot as soon as they miss (if they have half a brain), and it's been awhile since I've played Halo, but most of the best sniper locations probably have singular entry exit points. Oh, and never underestimate the pistol. Arguably the best weapon in the game, and certainly the most versatile.

Speaking of which, Microsoft can fuck off for all I care. They freaking sacrificed all non-RTS, RPG or FPS gaming on the PC for that stupidly huge box, and then make a decent-at-best looking game run slow as molasses to help their buddies at nVidia out because they overestimated the worth of pixel shaders. Also, the first Halo, while one of, if not the, best console based shooter ever, wasn't much better than average on the PC. Seriously only two major publishers care about the PC market, and one of those companies is so fucking evil I would dance in the streets if they collapsed tomorrow. The other sells a shitload of games despite having a very small library. Anyway, I haven't puchased anything since September (been kind of a rough semester). I'm due for a binge after Christmas. Castle's also mentioned a lot in Ultimate Spider-Man. At one point Spidey actually captures him, and expresses some regret because Castles fighting crime but goes about it the wrong way.

Hmm...Interesting. A Zelda movie could be cool...or really bad. A Star Fox movie would rock. Metroid wouldn't work. Donkey Kong wouldn't work. Maybe Fire Emblem, but I'm not that familiar with the stories. Just as long as they don't make another Super Mario film.

Sounds like Sony, since it was their disc, and they issued the apology. I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be on Capcom's end because that's something that would be caught in testing.
