It was never mentioned in any of the previous 7 movies that Jigsaw even has a nephew. That seems like a big deal. Ridiculous retcon.
And could Jigsaw be any more of a two-faced hypocrite? He knew Anna killed her baby, and let her husband go crazy anyway. Jigsaw is as guilty of his death as Anna is. How about you expose her crimes, so her husband doesn't go crazy and kill himself, and then put her in a deathtrap.
I never even thought of that angle, but you're absolutely right.

So I finally decided to watch Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. I didn't like the first couple episodes but I got into it after the first story wrapped up and they moved on. I have to say, Sabrina is kind of an asshole and I wasn't expecting that. Almost every crisis is her fault because she does things out of selfishness disguised as love for her friends.
Watched the final episode last night. While it was overall a good episode (and an entertaining show on the whole), the very last line ruined the finale entirely for me. Talk about 180'ing any character growth your main character developed. And what she wants to do is stupid on every conceivable level.

No way he can do worse. And this franchise has desperately needed a reboot forever now.

Refresh my memory: did Disney get the rights to the Fantastic Four?

Finally saw it today. Favorite moment was unquestionably
SpoilerCap wielding Mjolnir.
Loved it. Paul Rudd kind of stole the show for me and I never even saw either Ant-Man film.

Captain Marvel - Not a lot of depth, but it didn't need it. It was great as a nostalgic 90's period piece.

Finally got around to watching Batman v. Superman and Justice League.
SpoilerThe former was actually quite enjoyable, except for Lex Eisenberg.
JL, however, was a complete, rushed mess. Like, if it weren't for the fact that I've watched Dragonball: Evolution, then JL would be the most rushed, cram-everything-we-can-into-this film I've ever seen. Nothing is developed at all. People are angry at one another for no reason, and then buddy-buddy in literally the next scene. Steppenwolf is as vanilla a villain as I've ever seen, and gets squashed in like four minutes when Supes comes back. And the whole movie I assumed was to set up Darkseid eventually coming to Earth, but then the teaser at the end hints at the Legion of Doom.
Just a total, disorganized mess.

Love, Death & Robots on Netflix is very cool. The different animation styles are impressive and each plot is vastly different than the previous short. I highly recommend it.

Can't wait for The Room in theatre. XD

Last night I was having trouble sleeping, so I gave the first episode of The Umbrella Academy a try. Beyond the dancing scene (especially Ellen Page's dancing) and the cool shot in the car at the end (non-spoiler), I didn't really get anything out of it.
I'm addicted to it. I would definitely say don't give up on it yet. I just finished Episode 4 and Klaus is fucking superb in it.

Ah, cool. Didn't see the part about March.

That is amazing.

Got my plane ticket. Are they mailing me my convention pass? I thought that was what was supposed to happen, but I still haven't received it yet, so just curious.

@Venneh, have you played KH3 yet?

I'm hoping to podcast again in 2019 once I get my finances back in order. Would definitely like to cover these DCUA movies.

Hydro Man is an interesting choice. Wasn't expecting that.

Saw it last night. Absolutely loved it. As soon as Spider-Man Noir spoke, I was like, "HOLY SHIT, NIC CAGE?!?!"

Watched that for a college class on Affect Theory. It was definitely something...
In the same class, we watched Eraserhead, Human Centipede, The Thing, and we read from Chuck Palahniuk. It was a very...interesting class.
