Oddly enough, I just bought a book on how to create real tension in one's fiction writing. That is one of the very first things it says in this book--lack of communication is not a sufficient way to build tension because it's cheap and easily fixable.

I cannot stand Cruella or Ursula. (I'm about to hit a Cruella-centric episode, too, which makes me groan.) However, the return of a certain previous villain was a welcome addition.

I've been watching the first season of Capaldi and I dig him. Of course, I generally like pragmatic characters, so this is no shock to me.

I'm a little over halfway into Season 4. I gotta say, it's easily the weakest season yet.

I managed to fix the iTunes problem but even still, I'm going to a Samsung first opportunity I get.

When it comes to sports (specifically baseball and football for me), it is definitely an escape from reality. Plus, when you attend a game live, it's just a really awesome experience to high five random strangers who share the love of your favorite team. That's part of why I am so emotionally invested in my teams.

The latest iOS update has rendered my iPhone nearly unusable. Everything has a delay, Siri randomly opens sometimes when I click the home button and my iTunes doesn't recognize it when I plug it into my laptop. I lost most of my music when I had to get a new phone due to a battery problem.

The first one bored me to tears and I didn't care to ever see the others.

Finally got around to Gotham and watched the first three episodes. I'm loving it so far.

I jumped the gun a bit. Still need a face mask. They are, in fact, harder to find in the plain black design I need than I expected. But I got the tactical vest in the mail today. $10 from Academy Sports and Outdoors. Not bad.

I'd imagine the muffled sound was a bit of an issue. The only reason I can even afford to piece this thing together is because after two+ years, I finally got a refinance on my mortgage. And I hate buying pre-made costumes. Cobbling one together out of Goodwill clothing and various department store goods is more fun and rewarding.

Good call. And surprisingly, yes, they do down here. I'll hit up a Sports Authority after work today.
