I actually found some of this interesting. Blackest Night will be awesome. Even my wife was excited for that one and she doesn't read comics. It just looks so cool, the way the panels were done and the hand with the black ring and all. Strangely enough, I thought the Wonder Woman and Libra stuff looked good too. I won't buy the Wonder Woman stuff until it is collected, but I will read Final Crisis until I don't understand what is going on. Hopefully this takes longer than the 4 issues it took 52.

I thought Clarke Duncan was a wonderful Kingpin, color be damned. As for Jackson, I think it is cool. I hate when they change a lot of stuff in these movies, but skin color isn't the worst thing ever, unless it's also bad casting. Like if they casted Shawn Wayans as Nick Fury.

I had hopes. I love all of these characters, even Beast Boy, and wanted the book to be good. I guess it just proves that willing something to happen doesn't always mean it will.

The toys are amazing. I bought an Iron Monger and Mark 3 for my desk, and I bought my kids the four pack of Super Hero Squad figures with Crimson Dynamo, Iron Man, Titanium Man and War Machine. Between this, Speed Racer, and G.I. Joe, I am in toy heaven!

Sure, there are parallels to what Kyle went through after Hal went insane, but what's going on right now in Nova is so far away from what's going on in the two GL books right now that the similarity to a 15-ish year old story doesn't matter. I think it does matter when the character is a rip-off of that type. Not Kyle, but the Green Lantern in particular. It's funny that they are ripping off the next evolution of GL at this point and they're still a decade and a half behind. I just don't see what people like in Nova, or the whole Annihilation debacle for that matter. It's non-sensical. Go watch a horror movie or something, hater!

I love Wonder Man. Seriously. I thought the first issue was good, and I love how creepy it is for the skrulls to say "He Loves You" before every attack, giving the whole thing a weird cult type feeling. Also, being the big Annihilation nerd around here, I wonder how pissed Super Skrull will be when he finds out that all these ultra powerful skrulls were out there and they did dick all to stop the Annihilation Wave and the Phalanx.

I really think Batman is playing the straight man here.

Final Crisis (until the next one) has nothing to over me. Although I heard that imagination gets punched this time, so that sounds fun.

Army of Two, which I love. Not the greatest game in the world, but I love coming up with a solution to a situation when it's you and a partner against tons of guys. Really fun.
