So, if you count it out, Bruce Wayne is only Batman for a total of six months in the Nolanverse. Odd.
How do you figure? I assume it was longer because of a line made by the Joker during The Dark Knight.

Really an incredibly minor annoyance as these things go, but I really do wish that the roommate hadn't taken the wireless router with him tonight, especially when there are three of us who are now going to have to duke it out for the wired connection any given night.
I don't know how fast it would be, but if you plug it into your mac, you can (very easily) make your mac a wireless router via the system preferences.

Because Professor X doesn't have telekinesis.
For what ever reason, I could have sworn he did. I feel stupid. Damn it all.
-
Hey Mike, or any other X-Men fan, why doesn't Professor X use his telekinesis to let him walk?

The music service could enable users to store their music in the "cloud," on remote servers, rather than by downloading tracks and storing them on separate devices.
Armed with licenses from the music labels and publishers, Apple will be able to scan customers' digital music libraries in iTunes and quickly mirror their collections on its own servers, say three people briefed on the talks.

This cloud trend needs to go away. I want my music to work when there is no internet.
Music purchased on my computer would also be available on my computer offline. The idea of the cloud is you don't need to sync everything at once, you can grab as you need. You can still sync data your self.
It also fully integrates with Twitter, but not Facebook, which is an interesting move. Must be because Facebook is launching their own phone, which makes them a competitor....
Twitter received full integration opposed to Facebook because Apple and Facebook had a dispute over "Ping" which originally included Facebook integration. The "facebook phone" is in no way a competitor to the iPhone.
Sorry for the late response

I believe it is time to upgrade the hard drive in my trust 'ole MacBook. Any suggestions as to what brand I should get? I have 250 gigs right now, and planning to purchase 500 gig drive. Should I go higher?
EDIT:
This is the drive I'm considering: http://www.frys.com/product/6678894?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG

Someone needs to start thinking about a post Jobs Apple, because they aren't doing it themselves.
In his letter to the employees today, Mr. Jobs stated that he would remain as CEO and handle major strategic decisions, but the day to day operations would be turned over to the company’s COO, Tim Cook. Mr. Cook has assumed the role before during Jobs’ 2004 bout with pancreatic cancer, and again in 2009 when he underwent a liver transplant. Some even speculate that he actually handles the majority of the daily load at Apple already while Mr. Jobs focuses on the larger issues and working with Jonathan Ive on their award winning designs for products. While Mr. Cook is certainly qualified to take the position from a business standpoint, he does lack the natural charisma that Steve Jobs exudes. Say what you will about Apple and its products, but there is no denying that a key factor to the company’s success is Mr. Jobs’ ability to work up a crowd at his notoriously popular press events. Mr. Cook is capable of making the presentations, but he does lack that “wow” factor we’ve come to expect from Apple employees up on a stage.

Steve Wozniak, simply known as “Woz” in most computer circles, has said in a recent interview that he would return to Apple if asked. There is no indication that such an invitation is close to happening, but he is open to the concept.
It would be very interesting if he returned, and to see Apple change to a more open company. But what does that entail? Computers with parts that are more easily replaceable? Software that can be installed on non Apple computers? Or something as simple as iOS opening up to more developers to work on the software itself instead of just apps. Or will he not come back at all? Only time will tell.

Normally I hide my Dock, but I wanted to show off my customized icons.

There is a rotation lock, but only from iPhone 3gs and up.
There are custom tones, but you have to buy them.
Hmm, I couldn't find a rotation lock and I've got the 3GS, weird.
It's only ringtones you can change, SMS tones are limited to the stock 6, which in a large office is silly. If you have an official Apple link for how to change the 'new sms alert' tone, send it through.
Forgot another one, SBSettings. I swipe the top of the screen and lots of function commands appear (rotating lock, autolock, airplane mode, etc). Makes it really easy to change things while in an app and not having to get exit, then go in to the settings section.
Its under the multitasking options, Just doubletap the homebutton and scroll all the way to the left.

Finally upgraded to an ios v4 and tried to live without a jailbreak but I couldn't even last a day. The things I couldn't live without were
- Pop up blocker (no annoying sms alert when playing a game or watching a video)
- Stop Rotating the screen (I like to read the web while lying in bed, stops the screen rotating)
- Custom SMS tones (only 8 to choose from is dumb and they could make money selling these, so I don't know why they don't)
- 3G unrestrictor.
- Themes - I could live without this, but changing icons, backgrounds, sms bubble colours, etc is a nice choice. Once again, they could make money selling themes, so I don't know why they don't.
The pop ups do get annoying, could be fixed.

Wow, our exchange student from Austria could not have picked a worse time to come to California. Heavy rain, a power outage, AND possible trace amounts of radiation? Oy.
Radiation? From what?! Japan? That's ridiculous. As far as I know, out plants are doing fine.

What is a good .cbr or .cbz reader? Is there a way to easily convert those file types to .pdf?
