  1. Could that be The Lazarus Pit, that would be an awesome site
  2. This was actually a pretty good pilot and had great potential, however I think putting Wonder Woman on there is what killed it. Still I thought, I'd use this post to ask you; how do you feel about Adrienne Padalecki playing Wonder Woman? I actually think she can do it, I enjoyed her as Supergirl on Smallville(before Laura Vandevoort came as the "real" Supergirl)and really thought she did well as The Siren on Mercy Reef(Aquaman pilot). I also liked her on Supernatural.
  3. Another great one, the Smallville version of Isis was actually pretty good, but the episode was used as a filler like focus, its sad cause more could have been done with that version.
  4. This was a great review, has it been released on DVD? I know the pilot was released with Wonder Woman Season 3, uch of the footage look like they came from a beat up Beta Max Tape or VHS tape. Still it looks ok, the review great
  5. I just how much these studios shit all over us fans, we spend almost 10 years spending 40 to 50 dollars for the sets, just to be giving a big FU with this, it looks great and I'll probably get it, but the only reason is for the new extras. Its like Blu-Ray exclusive material...I hate it
  6. Wouldn't it be great if the Bat-Mite Presents episode was a backdoor pilot for an anthology based Batman series? I had this thought that with all the possible stories there are, plus with what we saw in the room he was in, it be a great new idea
  7. Ahh well I guess I could see Zordon making a new Ranger and Zord using the look and design of another power source, but did they ever mention why it is that Zordon or anyone never mentioned that there are other Ranger powers and why it is that in the original series they made it seem like they were alone. I mean with Alien Rangers, and Space Rangers and Zeo Rangers I can understand, but all the other Ranger powers are said to exist throughout the world, so why not just get them all for that final battle. Oh well
  8. I have a feeling this won't be the final costume, it may just be a test costume or something. I think it looks ok and like most series will most likely develop over time, but I don't think this is the final product. But for everyone who is bashing the costume, what would you like to see, if you had a replica of the 60's costume, you'd complain that it was too old fashioned, if you have Lynda Carter's costume, you'd complain they were copying and had no imagination, if you had today's costume you'd not like it cause that costume sucks, it seems like no matter what they go with no one will be happy.
  9. Well so far I have been enjoying the new series it definitely brings back the awesome music and great action of the original. I'm watching the new episode and I was so surprised to see Tiger Zord, I mean it has been revamped, but its the White Tiger Zord, its a great surprise, although, it does beg the question of how it could be around since the Power Coins were destroyed. I also do enjoy seeing Bulk, but I feel they are using him wrong, I mean, he's the comic relief, but before he interacted with the Rangers themselves, in this series, they never really cross paths, even when the Rangers are right there they just run off, I feel like Bulk is there just for us fans, which is ok, but give him something to do with the Rangers
  10. Joseph Gordon-Levitt IS Alberto Falcone, the question now is he also The Holiday Killer? http://film.blogdig.net/archives/articles/March2011/20/Joseph_Gordon_Levitt_Is_Alberto_Falcone_In__The_Dark_Knight_Rises_.html
  11. Well I wanna collection many if not all the games in certain franchises like Wario, Mario, Sonic, Donkey Kong, DK Country, Crash Bandicoot, Spyro and other adventure games like those. I would like to get a Virtual Boy, so I could get Wario Land 1(its not the same as Super Mario Land 3), I've found it used for 60 dollars and the game for 30 dollars, but I don't really think its worth that much, especially since I'm on SSI
  12. THE SHADOWY FLIGHT: A KNIGHT RIDER PODCAST I have discovered that there is a fan podcast called The Shadowy Flight a Knight Rider podcast that reviews each episode of each series, this include Classic, Reboot/Continuations, Team Knight Rider and the films(including Knight Rider 2010). Its a shame how both the Classic and newer series were both canceled, but we have much to watch at least. Go to Itunes and type in Shadowy Flight. So far there are 50 episodes done this was first started before the reboot started but after the TV Movie and is not in chronological order(except for the new series)that is the only gripe I don't like.
  13. I liked Smallville after Season 3, but Annette O'Toole definitely made it worth watching even more. She looks better now, than when she was in Superman 3 and Stephen King's It
  14. Ummm April 1st makes me question the accountability of this showing... Why did the episodes air in the UK first, was there a problem here or something?
  15. Ahh ok, I figured it was at least associated with The CW, because they advertise shows on The CW. Antenna TV also has plans to bring Living Dolls(Who's the Boss spin-off)and both Married With Children spin-offs(Top of the Heap and Vinnie & Bobby
  16. I like what they are doing in the comics, we all know that the Season 8 (and Season 6 in Angel)story was originally in Joss' head before the shows were canceled, but its nice to see them taking that extra step that the comics would allow, but not TV Series. The only thing I hated was the Dawn becomes a giant thing, that would never translated well in the series. I am glad he is coming out with Season 9 and hope that he will continue with a new season for Angel as well.
  17. Hello Earth-2.net, I just wanted point out these two new stations, they have been on the air since the beginning of the year(with The Hub being on since last year)and they are great. I know Antenna TV is part of the CW Network, but The Hub, I believe may be as well. What's the best about the channels are how they air rarely seen TV shows from back in the day(Antenna TV even more so). The Hub shows the series like Family Ties, Doogie Howser MD, Wonder Years, Batman(60's) and 80's Transformer. Antenna TV is even more of a favorite shows Three's Company, The Ropers, Three's A Crowd, All In the Family, Good Times, Maude, 704 Hauser, Hazel, Father Knows Best, Three Stooges, Dennis the Menace and more
  18. What kind of battery would I need to purchase online. I have the same problem with my Super Nintendo version of Super Mario World 1 and 2. I need a replacement battery for Gameboy(original)and SNES, thanks for the help
  19. are you sure you and I watched the same film? Lol, yea I think so, I don't know why I really just enjoyed the score, it wasn't as great as Danny Elfman score to Batman or Spider-Man, but it fit well. I haven't read the book like you did, so you probably had your own feature in your head and like most it didn't capture the feeling you felt from the book(like how WB screwed over Queen of the Damned), but I thought it was a good film and was impressed.
  20. Two things to post here, one the trailer for Green Lantern: Emerald Knights, looks really good, it may be overshadowed by the live action film or it may get more attention, don't know yet, but I'm looking forward to it. Two; I just watched All-Star Superman and I just have to say I was really impressed with it. Ever since Superman: Doomsday pretty much bombed critically it seems like the producers of the DC Animated Films have been trying to stay away from Superman solo film, but this time I'm glad they didn't. The animation is terrific and is honored even more by the amazing voice acting. The thing I was most impressed with and what makes me want to read the novel is the way the story really seems to capture Superman's world and how he really feels about things, of course the media of film also amplifies the feeling with the incredible score done in this film(and it really does amplify the emotions). I'm really hoping that any future Superman film is able to capture the human side of Superman like this film did. Now I have the film on order as a DVD, but next month I should be able to pick up a Blu-Ray player and get the Blu-Ray version, this version adds a commentary, which I believe includes the late Dwayne McDuffie, so it'll be nice to hear his thoughts on his final film(I believe this is the final film that he wrote)
  21. Hello, I'm a new comic book reader, visiting sites like this one, listening to podcast like WF and Eath-2.net The Show and all the comic book movies have sparked an interest I had when I was a child, but never pursued. Now, I'm a completest so I need to start from the beginning, so since DC Comics have been reprinting old issues it makes it cheaper and easier to see how it all began. This is my collection and it will continue to grow. 22. I do agree it may be pushing it to add a love story element, but Talia has always tried to make Bruce see the good in the League and has made him question himself, Selena, while she is Catwoman, she really isn't a "bad guy, " she does care for Bruce and Batman, just like Talia does, however, Talia is a bit more of a villain than Selena as she is willing to kill more than Selena. The Holiday Killer story would serve better if it was started in the first film and slowly developed through the 2nd, like the Phoenix saga did in X-Men(although, their execution in the 3rd film wasn't as good)series. However, it does present a challenge for Bruce as the police force already sees Batman as a killer, so if a new killer was framing him he'd have to clear his name AND avoid the police. So, the "Rises" could also mean that kind of rising.
  23. Well come to think of it Ra's makes a mention of how he lost his family years earlier from him joining the League, while he is a mastermind nut, he isn't a liar, that's why I've always like Ra's as a villain, cause he's like Magneto, he really believes he's doing right, he doesn't see himself as a villain, but as a savior. In the comics Talia and Ra's were very close, if she wasn't in the first film, its possible she doesn't exist, the reason I feel strongly that she will play a part in the new film is both because of the title "Rises" signifies that Batman will triumph over an adversary and also because Selena Kyle is now in the film and presents a challenge of the heart. I am also seeing that Albert Falcone will most likely be in the film and he will help to tie things up(his father Carmine Falcone was put in the mad house, so we have another revenge plot going), plus we have Bane and most likely the Knightfall story, which in itself is a huge story
  24. So far, the only thing I don't like is that the film is being shot in L.A and they are going with the comics mythology that Peter makes his web cartridges, that is an aspect of the films I enjoyed was the it was natural webbing. The costumes looks ehh ok, and I like that Gwen Stacey is going to be there first, perhaps we'll see a true adaptation of Spider-Man's run in with the Green Goblin and Gwen
  25. I like how Lex is starting to lose his memory, it kind of answers the whole question of "Won't Lex just out Clark when he becomes Superman?" If he doesn't remember, he won't remember the final scene in Season 7. I am still curious to find out how everyone around Clark in Metropolis won't know he's Superman, he's been walking around since Season 5(as well as various times before that)in Metropolis with no glasses and non-clumsy or unlike Superman.
