  1. Has anyone else find letdown by Charlie Brooker's Black Mirror series 2? All three episodes have been missing something, and the second episode was only saved in the last five minutes, and the third, was just political gibberish.
  2. Maybe she'll get a makeover during the film, and Peter will notice her then. It'd really get across how much of a jerk Peter is, which they started so well at the end of the first film.
  3. I just hope he will do his famous maniacal laugh at some point.
  4. Frankenweenie: The first half is pretty bland, but once it turns in to a monster film, it's great. The ending is kind of a letdown, but still, something I'd recommend watching if you like stop motion, and it looks great on Blu-Ray. Frankenweenie (The original): This was the original short film that Tim Burton directed in the 80's, and it's live action, and has Jason Hervey and Daniel Stern from the Wonder Years in it. Take what I said about the animated films first half, and make it this full feature, just dull, something about it just seems rushed, and at the same time, boring. It's interesting watching this after the animated film, to see what changes were made for the better of the overall films between the two, such as how Sparky dies, for example. Not worth seeking out, but if you're watching the feature film, worth a look, at least.
  5. I finished Sleeping Dogs last night. Great game, my one complaint is how pointless the guns are, I never enjoyed using them, and preferred to just spin kick the enemies to death.
  6. Maybe I chose the wrong word to use, what I meant was I wanted them to be brought to justice, instead of them technically getting away with the murder of people at a football game. It just sort of ends. Overall, I just didn't enjoy that story as much as the other ones, which were more entertaining, like the racism issues, for example, that ending to that story was brilliant.
  7. The Question: epitaph for a hero: This was heavy, it took twice as long to read as a normal comic, and was pretty damn dark. Some of the stories worked better than others, the militia army story has no real resolution, and brings the entire trade to a grinding halt. The racism storyline is pretty good, even if the resolution has been done to death, no matter how good an idea it is, and the team up with Green Arrow is sort of missing something. The art is pretty good throughout, and like I said, a pretty heavy book to read, but was still enjoyable, even if the Rorschach mention felt a bit forced, as it came across almost like an ad for the Watchmen trade. 10. What Dan said. But with Inception a close second for his best.
  11. The Green Hornet film really is as bad as everyone said.
  12. WWE has issued this great response to Glenn Beck: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9AJgxbQx0No Then, at some point, WWE said they'd rather keep everything kayfabe, and re-edited the great promo into this piece of crap:
  13. He really is. Anyway, question for old school wCw fans. I'm watching the best of Nitro Volume 2, and I've always wondered, why is the announce (Dave Penzer?) inaudible? I mean I can almost hear him, yet it's mostly static. I know he used to announce for TNA as well, and it's always bothered me, why would they have an announcer you couldn't really hear, yet when wrestlers took the mic from him, it was always clear as a bell?
  14. http://www.tmz.com/2013/02/20/wwe-star-jack-swagger-arrested-wwe-tv-taping-traffic-violations/#ixzz2LTT2UCFy Well, there go his chances of winning the world title at wrestlemania.

  17. Has anyone else been watching The Following? I thought the first episode was really good, but then it just sort of fell apart really quickly.
  18. Having the last series villain show up for one final fight was kind of the theme for all the crossovers, if I remember. Everything else you said, I agree with.
