  1. Hardy is definitely playing Eddie Brock and Michelle Williams (?) I think, is playing his ex-wife Ann. I’ve heard rumors that it’s based on Lethal Protector, because of course it is.
  2. So, I sat down to watch Smackdown for the first time in probably a decade, and I’ve only kept up with the barest of bare minimum stuff (departure of Punk, Danielson retiring, Attitude Era Guys slowly phasing out, etc)... AJ Styles is the WWE champion. And then the main event is Kevin Steen vs El Generico. What universe is this?

    XFL... again

It’s Republican Football. It’s going to massively flop, and I will watch it go down with a huge smile on my face.
  4. Michelle and I have started a family Vlog. We play never have I ever in this one. It’s pretty funny.
  5. A quick note to anyone complaining about the
  6. Christmas Eve: The Original Star Wars Trilogy on Blu Ray Hellboy Funko POP Johnny Cash socks. I could not even begin to list what the kids got. Massive hauls. Pokémon plushes, more PJ Mask and Paw Patrol stuff than I knew existed, so many sets of pajamas, some kind of aromatherapy owl. The list goes on.
  7. I know the rights to Namor were wonky at one point. I’m not sure if they’ve reverted or not.
  8. An addendum to this last post: I just encountered three shinies in a row, followed by a Palkia while wormhole running. This is insane.
  9. What really sucks is that Cebulski actually has brought in a ton of Asian talent.
  10. The depiction of Peter’s Spider-Sense is fantastic.
  11. Pokémon Ultra Moon: If you’re a hardcore Pokémon fan (like me) or if you skipped regular Sun and Moon last year, this is fantastic. The difficulty has been ramped up and the story changes are really, really cool. The added features like Wormhole Running, and surfing from island to island are tremendously fun. Team Rainbow Rocket in the postgame is a pure nostalgia bomb, too. That said, there isn’t a massive amount of updated content. If you didn’t care for Sun and Moon, this won’t change your mind.
  12. Saw it today. Liked it, didn’t love it. A lot of the set up stuff was rough, but after Superman hit the scene, it was fantastic. Not a fan of Barry, especially given that we’ve seen his story done so well recently on TV. But, overall, it felt like a big step in the right direction, especially in the Superman Department That said, I saw it in an empty theatre with my wife, literally just the two of us. So, I’m not sure word of mouth is great. I do have to mention one huge mark out moment:
  13. There is no Themiscyria. Diana is the product of a Captain America style super soldier project launched in WWII. Most of her Greek enemies/allies are failed attempts to replicate her. Especially Ares, as introducing the Y chromosome drives his aggression totally out of control.
  14. The Fantastic Four are USSR cosmonauts who defected after being disfigured.
  15. Lex Luthor built Superman in a lab to boost his own defense contracts.
  16. I’m happily shocked. But I’m shocked.
  17. https://www.newsarama.com/37418-axel-alonso-out-cb-cebulski-in-as-marvel-editor-in-chief.html Axel is out. Your new EIC is... CB Cebulski... wait. What?
  18. Also, can I be a little pissed that we got next to zero Hiddleston/Cumberbatch interaction?
  19. And yes, Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston and Jeff Goldblum are all very funny guys. I loved Hemsworth In Ghostbusters. Goldblum has made a second career out of being weird and funny. You know who else is a very funny guy? Robert DeNiro. I still don’t want to see him in a comedy. Thor doesn’t need to be funny. He needs to be badass and wreck stuff with his hammer like he’s in a Dio music video. The opening with him destroying Sutur’s forces to “The Immigrant Song”? That’s the perfect Thor movie. It’s like Waiti knew exactly what to do, but decided to throw us a curveball. It was still pretty good, but it could have been so much better.
  20. I Fuckin’ hope so. That said, I liked this. Didn’t love it. I liked the idea of Shakespearean high drama in the MCU and I thought the first Thor did a nice job with that. This was a Guardians movie. Not to say I don’t love the Guardians flicks, or that this didn’t work. But it wasn’t a Thor film. This was a Hulk movie or a Herc movie.
  21. My son shit a literal brick when I showed him this trailer.
  22. I'm confused as to the subject matter, but I'm very interested in the cast and concept. (Arya Fucking Stark).
