  1. I think you seriously need to revisit your sexual hang ups and fictional characters, mate.
  2. A Spoileriffic List of Questions I'm Left With:
  3. Characters that I light up with joy when I read: The Question, The Thing, Batman, Deadpool, Jesse Custer, Hercules/Amadeus Cho, Frankenstien. Characters I've Just Glommed onto for whatever reason: Hawkeye, Iron Fist, Hellboy, Damian Wayne, Machine Man, Jimmy Olsen, Kyle Rayner, Barbra Gordon, Big Barda.
  4. DC needs to get their shit together. Fuck that ending especially.
  5. He's no Patrick Warburton, but I'm a fan of the guy, so I'll give him a fair shake.
  6. Untrue, his cameo as Tig's "corpse disposal guy" on Sons of Anarchy was wonderfully creepy.
  7. According to Gaiman's Twitter: Emily Browning (Sucker Punch) has been cast as Laura Moon.
  8. A wider audience? It's Batman. Every person in the western world knows who Batman is.
  9. Spider-man is in literally two seconds of film and I have never heard so much bitching.
  10. Fuck, you completely nailed Crimson Peak and Trainwreck there. Could not agree more.
  11. Benjamin brought home Hand Foot and Mouth Disease. Thankfully, it passed through him pretty quickly and uneventfully. However, Michelle and I are both pretty much lepers now.
  12. Holy shit. That's perfect. I never ever thought of him the million times I cast it in my head, but it's perfect. God, I hope we get to hear him sing his song from the Monarch of the Glenn short story follow up.
  13. Snart has always been the "leader" of the Rogues, as much as such a group can have a leader.
  14. I actually really like the casting. He's a good actor, carries himself well and should be able to pull off the stunts. Not a choice I'd have thought of, but a solid one.
  15. Finn Jones (Loras Tyrell on Game of Thrones) has been cast as Danny Rand.

    Happy birthday, Mike!

    Beeeeeeeeeeeeerfday!!!
  17. Also, I gotta talk about Colossus. The original trilogy of X-Men films kinda made him a nothing character. This, however was perfect. Pure Pete. He's this big, hopeful, good hearted dude, and he's legitimately everything I wanted out of the character on the big screen. Sure, he was kind of a doofus goody-two shoes, but that's the character!
  18. That was exactly what it needed to be. Oh my god, that was wonderful. Deadpool trying to beat up Colossus on the freeway was probably as close to comics as any moment I've seen in a Marvel movie. And yeah, it was hilarious, which I never doubted, but the fact that they inserted that genuine pathos into the character is what pushed it beyond forfor me.
  19. Bucky trying to shoot Stark in the face point blank is Hard-fucking-core.
  20. I'm rewatching Venture Brothers again. I could write a million words about this show, but to be Frank, 21 has one of the greatest arcs in tv history. Everything about this show is basically perfect. Even the weak episodes are good. I guess that's why it's taking a dozen years to put out six seasons.
