  1. It's funny, because the reaction of realizing "When Love is Gone" had been cut was the exact opposite in this house.
  2. Not to mention Adrian's love of Alexander the Great.
  3. He got his heat back in a cheap manner. I'm not shocked.
  4. Honestly, I agree with exactly two results last night, Asuka and Kairi winning via green mist and Gable pinning Corbin (even though rollups are trash). When the Baron Corbin match is one of the most sensibly booked things on the show, you're in a bad way.
  5. They're claiming it was "referee stoppage" but they didn't stop the match when they thought Foley was dead, so why stop the match when Seth Rollins hits a bunch of chairs near Bray Wyatt's face? I'll take Drunk Uncle Jericho over this, any day of the week.
  6. 2003 Brock Lesnar is probably one of my favorite wrestlers ever. Top five, I'd say. As of 2019, I could never see Lesnar again, and I'd be very happy. Just awful booking. And fun fact, Valasquez isn't even under WWE contact. He's just gonna wrestle the Saudi Show.
  7. Flair's financial woes are legendary. Bischoff cut a promo about how Flair never saved a dime at Starrcade 1998. Bobby Roode HAS to be on Team Flair. Has to.
  8. Agreed, one of my favorite wrestling moments instantly, and I'm not a big Puro guy. I know the big names, but this was incredible.
  9. I'm joking, but James Gunn is fucking crazy.
  10. Also the Captain of The Squad's personal transport, Reynold Malcolm.
  11. Michael Rooker? Say hello to Harley's Mentor, Undu Yodunta.

    Is Grodd... Babychesting?
  13. It's Trump. He's emboldened the religious right in incredibly insane ways.
  14. Ready or Not: Gruesome and funny. I loved it. And Samara Weaving is incredibly charasmatic. Even though, she looks like the love child of Margot Robbie and Alexa Bliss, she managed to carve her own identity in this film, just based on screen prescence.
  15. I really loved the NXT Last Man Standing match, and I feel like it got lost in a huge weekend, which is a shame.
  16. I'm gonna go with the idea that those aren't spoilers, things aren't what they seem. Be it clone, vision of a possible future or some kind of fake out, I don't think ___ goes ________.
  17. Hellboy (2019): I'm someone who takes his Hellboy pretty seriously, and I was furious when Perlman and Del Toro lost their Hellboy 3. That said, this didn't deserve the critical and commerical beating it took. Harbour was good, but suffers from comparison to Perlman. The supporting cast was solid, the story was fun, and Thomas Hayden Church was born to play Lobster Johnson. If this was the only Hellboy movie, it would be beloved. It's just unfairly compared to two movies made by a very talented visionary director. The GDT movies were objectively just better films, but this struck that, weird nasty chord that the comics have, in a big way. ...Some of the CGI was pretty dodgy, though. Looking at you, Ben Daimio.
  18. The greatest picture from last night. You can look right above Alexander's elbow pad to see my arms up, booing the shit out of Sami Zayn being jobbed out in four minutes and my darling bride telling me to shut the fuck up.
  19. While that would be awesome, it won't happen. WWE Brass isn't happy with Riddle for running his mouth, so unless it's a brilliant work, I expect to see Riddle stay in NXT for a while. Which is fine by me. After Gargano, Cole and Ciampa leave, Riddle and Dream will rule that joint. Maybe Keith Lee too.
  20. Looks fantastic. But how is that NOT Margot Robbie?
