  1. The problem with this is that hinting at the exsistence of a more popular character is only going to make viewers want to see Batman instead of Batgirl.
  2. Well since this game can be beaten in about 5 hours more content would be appreciated.
  3. Maybe there is a difference in reading it and watching it. Whenever I have read a comic with Peter Parker I have no problem with him. In the movies I just really want him to die.
  4. So does this mean the Spiderman series is going to continue the theme of having Peter Parker and Mary Jane be the whiniest characters outside realy bad teen movies? Also will this continue the theme of making the villians so sympathetic it is hard not to cheer in on the villian in his quest to kill those two? All Spiderman seems to do is beat up some guy who is down on his luck, or his wife just died, or his life long dream was pissed on, or something with their kid or whatever. Well that and be all whiny and angsty over snaggletooth Dunst.
  5. I don't read Iron Man. Is The Dude the major villian in the comics just like he was in the movie?
  6. Once you figure out the plot is basically Barry Allen coming back to stop Darkseid from conquering Earth it makes a lot more sense, and is a lot easier to read.
  7. I just hope in Spiderman 4 that Spiderman is more sympathetic than the villian for once.
  8. I think the disconnect here is that a lot of people, me included, think that we did get all of those things.
  9. Oh thank god, as that was my one real gripe with the Hush story arc. It is annoying how this story took like 4 issues just to actually make a bit of sense, and even then I'm still lost. Have you been reading Final Crisis? Morrison is keeping really hard not to be lost on that one.
  10. Damnit, I need backup here. OK I admit its probably not the best book out there but it is pretty good and I'm a huge fan of Tim Drake. He's probably my favorite character in comics right now. Well from what I read, it wasn't all that great for me just coming in to read a tie-in. I've liked the RIP tie ins. You got Robin trying to figre out what is going on with Batman, how to deal with Spoiler, dealing with Jason Todd and the aftermath of Batman being RIP, and whatever Red Robin is. Good stuff. have you read batman and the outsiders yet? Cause I would like to see anyone defend that! It's your opinion if you liked the tie-ins which I respect, but I really wasn't that blown away by them. No I have not yet read Batman and the Outsiders. Well, that is the one R.I.P tie-in I have a major problem with. Off topic, yet not..... Does anyone know when the next issue of Batman is out? I asked when picking up the Outsiders crap, and the guy could only tell me it wasn't this week. Again off topic, but the Dc superhero election decision thing is out....... According to DC's website the next issue of Batman is October 1st. Personally I cannot wait for Dennis O'Neil writing the end of the arc myself. Now you have me think Batmna and the Outsiders is so bad I have to read it.

  13. I haven't listened yet, but the idea of a podcast about Teen Wolf is the greatest thing ever.
  14. http://www.superherohype.com/news/watchmennews.php?id=7669 Alan Moore is a bitter old man. He's never seen any of the movies based on his books, but he still hates them. He's getting paid for them so why is he so bitter? To be fair to Alan Moore it is not like his comics have been turned into anything worthwhile.
  15. I might be biased in that I have not liked any of the Spiderman movies so far, but I would really like to see some new blood brought into these movies. Writing, directing, and acting. Maguire is not painful to watch, but he is not all that great either.
  16. Burn Notice is a great great show and I don't think Raimi has anything to do with it.
  17. How much would they really make off an Imax re-release?
  18. So they really want Ledger to get that Oscar.

    Heart Of Hush

I know what you mean. I read 848...and I'm afraid they're using Selina as a plot device. Which completely ticks me off :T The art in RIP is better, but the story: blech! I wish RIP and HUSH would switch pencilers. I have to disagree. I am enjoying RIP much more. It was confusing as hell to start out, but Morrison is starting to fill in the blanks and I am digging this story. This Hush thing not so much.
  20. I imagine he got quite a bit out of his system when he was co-writing Action Comics. Also, he was kind of responsible for Superman Returns (He gave his blessing to Bryan Singer's story), so the producers might be a little wary of using him. How was his run on Action Comics?
  21. This makes me really laugh for some reason. Maybe the Growing Pains reference. http://sinktitanic.wordpress.com/
  22. The rumor I read also said that Jason Todd was going to over Nightwing's comic as Red Robin. So that leads to an obvious conclusion of who ends up as Batman II.
  23. How good of a source is iesb.net? Because this is what they are saying.
