Are they doing like an El Santo movie?

Raimi's over reliance on making the villains far more sympathetic than Peter and Mary Jane reached parody level with Sandman. Like by that movie it was like just kill Spider-Man and Mary Jane. The world would be better off.

This looks great. I will say I really like the first 4/5 of The Wolverine.

I don't know I liked it. It wasn't perfect. The villain left a lot to be desired. The tone was obviously changed because of BvS you can tell by how choppy the editing is especially when Deadshot starts talking about Phil Jackson, and you can tell Joker was supposed to be in this more. I thought the Squad themselves were great. Katana and Croc were undercooked as characters, but everyone else worked great for me especially Amanda Waller. Loved Harley and The Joker together. They are totally gonna steal the next Batman movie. I mean it's not Godfather Part 2, but the savaging it has taken from critics is a bit much. I don't want Rotten Tomatoes taken down nor am I convinced movie critics are being paid off by Disney, but I have a hard time believing that a Marvel movie with the exact same flaws would have been judged as harshly by the exact same critics. Mostly because there are Marvel movies with the same exact problems that have not been judged as harshly by the same exact critics.

Perhaps Snyder can only work in extremes with these characters. He went way too far one way and when there was an overwhelmingly negative reaction to it he went wildly extreme in the other direction.

With all the contortions done to have Spiderman be a kid over the years I was totally meh on the idea of him being a kid again, but holy shit is Spiderman so awesome in Civil War.
