  1. Lol, I can only wish. BTW, Mike, James, Dan if you want to mention this good news on either WFP or BOTI you have my permission, LOL!
  2. I gotta see it again. I seen it 3 times, I think and never did I feel touched, I always felt betrayal. Her grandfather abandoning her. Her teachers who claimed they only wanted to help her not even saying a word to help her out. I think she was dumped because she had started to get on everyone's nerves with her whiny, screamy attitude.
  3. Well while James has his girlfriend coming to visit him, I'm sorry to trump him, but here goes. I got married last Sun. to a lady from Indiana by the name of Jamie Middleton. It's Jamie Parent now, and I couldn't be happier.
  4. Can I ask how Superman could even be killed by most of the MK fighters or DC villans? He's invincible except against magic users (Subzero, Scorpion, Shang Tsung, Shao Khan, Liu Kang) and a green glowing rock. Don't you think they should have left "Big Blue" out?
  5. Mike, I usually give all movies that spark my interest a chance (yes I saw Transformers, ugh), but after hearing your review, I think I'll wait for Twilight to come into Red Box or Blockbuster so I can rent it, see it once then get rid of it.
  6. I agree with both sides, but I think that as Stan Lee is God you shouldn't treat him like this unless you want Thor to put a lightning bolt up your ass.
  7. I'm sorry, but it's like Bryan Singer got a hold of the Bond franchise and shit on Connery/Moore/Lasenby/Dalton/Broson's legacy in the films.
  8. Mike I loved the show. You and Jenny are the Lois and Clark of geekdom. I'm right there with you on the marriage/baby talk stuff. I haven't even made it official that I'm engaged and my mom's bugging me about a grandaughter. Also, I love how dirty you are in all the podcasts you are in. Babs loves Dick after all, and I love Babs too. Be she Batgirl, Oracle or just Barbra I would not kick her out of my room. I've got a thing for redheads too, and my girl has red hair, so there you go. Have a good one Master Yoda and keep the E-2 train rolling.
  9. I loved those little guys...
  10. You must hate James Bond. Carrying that pot-stirring gimmick over here, I see! Mike, that must make your favourite Batman Adam West (or even one of the actors from the movie serials), your favourite Hulk Lou Ferrigno and your favourite Punisher not Thomas Jane but Dolph Lundgren! And Craig's Bond is very much reminiscent of Dalton's - believe me, both Adham and I are fans so look forward to positive film reviews at the end of the summer! And sadly I won't listen, or just fast forward because much like Ben 10 for the DCAU its not in continuity...
  11. I liked the first episode, it sounded like one of my favorite radio shows, Beyond Reality Radio with the TAPS frontrunners, Jason and Grant. In any case, it brought back memories of "you killed Capt. Clown!"
  12. Well, it was a toss-up between Ian and James, I chose James.
  13. Now, now. Let's leave James D. out of this.
  14. Shit sucks. My divorce was a horrible affair all because of my ex's shit I've never been married, but engaged now. As it is ex-girlfriends can still fuck with your life and emotions even without a ring on the finger.
  15. Worse than William Shatner???? Perish the thought....
  16. Reboots like this are what brought us the *shudder* Daniel Craig James Bond movies, and Superman Returns
  17. Be that as it may, don't fuck with Jackie Tyler. She's got a mean right arm as Doctor 9 found out.
  18. Kirk, my old friend, I'll be waiting for you....
  19. Read this story, he died yesterday. I guess we'll not hear Bill Shatner scream "Khan" over the communicator again. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090115/ap_en_...it_montalban_19
  20. The first film was a decent film, it helped launch a new type og Horror genre and was one of the first Horror Comedies. It also is known for relaunching Wes Craven's career and brought him back to horror in a big way(Wes Craven's New Nightmare also did this in 1994, 2 years before the first Scream). It also put Kevin Williamson in the spotlight and launch the Dawson's Creek series and the first I Know What You Did Last Summer film. Neve Campbell also got a kick from her Melrose Place days and was able to go on to other things. Scream II was a great follow-up and knowing the characters now it help make this film superior in some ways. It also have some great twist and shocking events. Part 3 was one of those films that were cool the first time you saw it. The ending being the first part and all the composition of the events being connected. But after a few watches it does seem tedious and at times rushed(like who and when and how does Randy have a sister, when we never heard of her). You must see Scanners, this is the film that made me love Michael Ironside(Darkseid in the DCAU) as a villain. Other films with him in it and are must sees are Total Recall, Highlander II: The Quickening, Starship Troopers and Smallville(in a few as General Sam Lane). He also played the voice of Batman in the Dark Knight Returns portion of the Gotham Knight episode "Legends of the Dark Knight." Hey Mike in your next "Top 10" Series you should do Michael Ironside. He's a kick ass bad guy Yeah, Scream 4 has been in"Development Hell" for years, with David Arquette and Courtney Cox-Arquette immediately saying they would do it. Not sure yet if this still holds true. We Craven has said several times he doesn't feel the need to make a part 4. When he did Scream, him and Kevin Williamson agreed that it would be a trilogy, Kevin Williamson returned as Script writer for Scream II, but for some reason bailed out on Scream III(this is most likely the reasoning to the quality being hurt in this sequel)and given to Ethren Krueger. Neve Campbell said when the idea first came around she would never do a Scream film without Wes Craven, as she has said it's his film series and no one else should touch it(just like The Terminator film series). Also don't forget Scream gave us Scary Movie and the Horror Comedy franchises. (morphing to James D, becoming sarcastic)Thank you so much for that.
  21. Death to all remakes, burn it, BURN IT WITH FIRE!!!!!!
  22. Pertwee as a person no, but The Doctor was taught a lesson. Never piss off the Council. Also he gained a good friend in the Brigadier.
  23. I don't mind Pertwee so much as I didn't care for Colin Baker, he was a bit too goofy for my tastes, but his companion well, Mike might agree with this as he's the dirty-minded guy of the WFP duo. Peri, you can knock on my door anytime. Pertwee made the Doctor more humble I think. Even Time Lords need to be humbled.
