  1. I haven't watched Eva in a couple of years -- I kind of wonder what I would think of it now. I'd probably still enjoy the sheer insanity of it all, and I always thought the story and action were pretty damn good up until the end.
  2. Kevin is my favorite -- everything he does is gold. The storyline in the fourth season finale where is hysterical. Dwight was my favorite, but sometimes he can be a bit too over the top, like Michael. Now Stanley is a close second to Kevin. He's great.
  3. He's got the glasses glint, so he's clearly evil.
  4. Exactly what I was thinking.
  5. There are 4,022,367 people in the U.S. with my first name, and 24,369 with my last name. Probably most of them reside in the southwest, haha.
  6. There are 322 people with my name. Interesting. My first name (Michael) aided that, haha.
  7. Lightsaber Main theme from the Indiana Jones movies Travis Touchdown from No More Heroes
  8. Right now I'm spending the most time watching Monster, which is great (I finished episode 57 last night). I love all the twists and turns in the story, and that the series can make the simplest things resonate so wonderfully. I got chills Still watching Shugo Chara!, and I'm also watching the second season of Code Geass. I finished Clannad a while back and really liked it; I can't wait for the second season.
  9. Friend codes? Mine is 4983-4584-1619.
  10. Super Smash Bros. Brawl~ Yay Amazon for getting my copy delivered early.
  11. An awesome, mind-blowing book. Hope you like it. Murakami hasn't let me down yet, so I think I will like it. But, I randomly started reading Fear and Loathing: On the Campaign Trail '72 by Hunter S. Thompson, so it'll be a bit before I get to it, haha.
  12. Right now I'm reading A Year at the Movies by Kevin Murphy, which is really interesting even if Kevin's kind of a film snob (in a good way, though, not in an asshole-ish way). Not a novel, but I figure it counts. After that I'll be reading Kafka on the Shore by Haruki Murakami and American Gods by Neil Gaiman.
  13. My consoles: NES SNES Nintendo 64 Game Boy Color Game Boy PlayStation GameCube Game Boy Advance XBox Nintendo DS Wii I was and still am a total Nintendo fanboy. My best friend backed Sega, so we'd have nerd fights every day. Those were the days.
  14. Hotel Dusk: Room 215 Kafka on the Shore and Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami How I Met Your Mother season 2 Heroes season 1 A kickass blue long sleeve shirt Other assorted clothes Also saw Sweeney Todd, which I liked a lot. Nothing brings in the Christmas cheer quite like watching Johnny Depp sing while slashing throats. A good Christmas, in all.
  15. Haha, busy guy, chrno. Baccano is something I'll be watching pretty soon. I tried to keep up with it when it first started, but I just got way too busy with things. Fruits Basket I'm a big fan of, but... well, insane, soapy stories are a huge guilty pleasure of mine; however, Fruits Basket gets a little too insane and soapy near the end. (For the love of God, don't read that unless you've finished Fruits Basket.) Gotta admire the balls on Takaya for her to let the story run that wild, though. Plus, I can't really speak too ill of Fruits Basket because of all the emotional gut checks it gave me. Hm, didn't really think about light novels when I made this topic. Whenever the newest Haruhi light novel is out and translated, I'll read that, and I recently bought Boogiepop and Others, so I'll be giving that a whirl as well. D.W.: Probably because a lot of it is terrible, just like any other entertainment medium. You have to really like anime a lot to see the good in some series lol.
  16. God, Mega Man Soccer. I never bought it, but I did rent it several times from the local video rental place. I think I scored a goal like twice. I suck.

    JBL v Y2J

Yeah, their promo battle during Raw was great. Hopefully JBL won't be too rusty in the ring when he faces Jericho. He was solid as hell before he retired. To be fair, he didn't get the title only because JBL interfered in the match and caused the DQ. Jericho had Orton ready to submit to the Walls of Jericho. It's not like he suffered a miserable defeat or anything. And come on, it's not as though Jericho's feuding with Michael Cole now lol. JBL is a former WWE champion, and while he's been out of the ring for more than a year, he'll still be seen as dangerous, especially because he'll be defending his honor against Jericho. I wasn't exactly entertained by the Jericho/Orton feud, but I think Y2J/JBL will be much better.
  18. From the current season, I'm keeping up with Genshiken 2 and Shugo Chara! Genshiken 2 is just as funny as the first season and the OVAs; the episode where is particularly hysterical. Shugo Chara! is unbelievably girly, but it's also a lot of fun, so I don't care. Plus, the Charas are hilarious when they're interacting with one another. I also just finished watching the first season of Code Geass last night. The show is pretty interesting despite the fact that I can't really get behind either Lelouch or Suzaku. Lots of batshit insane plot twists probably helped with that little problem, haha. Plus the show is just nice to look at. (EDIT: Also, I was rolling at all the random ass Pizza Hut ads. I half expected there to be a giant Pizza Hut box when everyone was making the giant pizza at the school festival near the end of the season.) I'm also going to start Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann in a few moments. EDIT2: Forgot, I'm watching Sayonara Zetsubo Sensei, too. I've actually been keeping up with it since it debuted in the summer, but fansubs have been slow to come out. Hopefully it won't be too long before the final episode is translated. As for manga, I'm just reading Naruto at the moment, half out of genuine interest in the plot and half out of habit. I'm curious to where the long anticipated goes, as well as However, I'm really disappointed in the current focus of the manga, the Oh well. Hopefully it will pick up soon. How about everyone else?
  19. Just wanted to say I finally read Preacher because of this thread, and now I'm hooked on it and have ordered the rest of the trades after reading the first one. So thanks, haha. Also, on the subject of great comics, I'm going to get into Sandman, as well, and I'm greatly looking forward to that.
  20. Haven't seen them all, so I won't vote, but of what I've seen I'd say my favorite and the best would be RoboCop.
  21. Judging from IMDb, a lot of people don't seem to like Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey (or at least not as much as the first movie). I love it. How anyone can not like Evil Bill and Evil Ted is beyond me. Also fond of Dragon Ball Z, despite much of the anime community regressing to, "OMG I'M TOO GOOD FOR THAT SHIT" when discussing it. It's a fun show to chill out and watch for a few hours (or, approximately the amount of time it takes to get through one fight - I kid, I kid ). I'm with D.W. on liking House of 1,000 Corpses, as well.
  22. 19) Tsuruya (The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya) (yes, last one... )
  23. From what?!?! 13) Mikuru Asahina (The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya)
  24. 9) Spike Spiegal (Cowboy Bebop)
