  1. Helbig and Hart are pretty much masters of the "so lame it's hilarious" shtick. So I'd bet it's the other way around.
  2. I hope they appear in as Superman and Supergirl in a Days of Future Past-style "last stand of the heroes" prologue. I say that ironically, but it is also something I completely seriously want.
  3. It kinda reads like they just forgot to put Robbie's name in there (maybe they didn't realize Firestorm is two people?) or this is so early that Robbie's not signed yet.
  4. Rocksteady has said before that they plan to honor Joker's death in City; I don't anticipate them bringing him back, at least not fully. They've also said that this game is going to have an "end" of sorts, and that it's the reason they felt the need to keep the M rating they were given. I'm guessing more characters will die.
  5. I thought the ending was pretty fantastic, personally. So, for those unaware (which seems to be 90% of the internet), this "Power/Rangers" film is basically intended to be a satire of Hollywood's "make it grimdark" trend, but taken to an extreme. There was an NSFW version on Vimeo (it had boobs) but apparently it got pulled sometime today. It's definitely nothing I'd want to see Power Rangers actually do (it basically contradicts nearly everything PR is about), but it's really neat as a satirical darkest timeline thing. More thoughts: -Nice use of the PR mythology from season 1 through Turbo. Making Rocky a traitor asshole is a great idea, and the way they handle the Kimberly/Tommy/Jason triangle (which was 95% cut from the Turbo movie) is really clever. -Bulk and Skull being legitimate villains is an awful idea, but then this is the darkest timeline, so whatever. -I always liked the idea of Rita being treated like a genuinely creepy villain, so the ending twist is pretty fantastic.
  6. I loved Arkham Asylum and City; I got every single collectible and completed every challenge; I got the platinum trophies in both. I HATED Arkham Origins. Everything about it made me want to break the disc in half. It honestly felt like the game equivalent of going from a Disney animated masterpiece to a 90s Disney direct-to-video cheapquel on VHS.
  7. If Ghost Rider rides a Ghost Centaur, do they Voltron together to form the Super Ghost Megazord?
  8. ^That's the thing. Almost all of these promo shots we've seen for BVS have been really colorless. We can't really judge the color or lack thereof in this costume; all we get is the "tribal" look. Which I really like, so I'm more excited than not.
  9. Seven justice leaguers seems to make the most sense. What with the team uniting soonish.
  10. Sometime this year, we're literally going to have the Flash, Firestorm, and the Atom all on the same show interacting. I can't even believe how cool that is.
  11. This is super super cool. It's a fan-made concept for a new TARDIS dematerialization effect (rather than the usual "fade out"): http://youtu.be/DNEjx6XUbfQ
  12. The way they're hyping it, it doesn't matter if you know who Grodd is or not. He's basically a giant monster.
  13. So basically, Sony profits from having Feige step in creatively (for free), Marvel profits from having Spider-Man in team-ups, and they both profit from the cross-promotion. Seems like a win-win for all involved.
  14. The way I remember it, Mike said it, caught himself, then repeated it to make fun of himself for saying something so silly. Then James laughed hysterically and the rest was history.
  15. I kinda hope they just decide to bite the bullet and put Garfield's Spidey in the MCU.
  16. Yeah, they'd have to delay something else. Tomorrowland might be the best option, since it has that family-adventure vibe that can do well in the Christmas movie season. But still, Disney wouldn't have the opportunity to build the Star Wars hype train to maximum until December like they've been planning, so at the end of the day it may not be worth the trouble.
  17. I think if anything, Abrams wants Star Wars to actually come out when Star Wars is supposed to come out. Star Wars did kind of create the Summer movie blockbuster franchise thing. But it's kinda late to jump into that party this year. Also, Disney would have to basically kick the Star Wars marketing into high gear starting now, which might throw a wrench into their careful plan of having Avengers dominate the zeitgeist in the first half of the year and Star Wars dominate the second.
  18. If they bring back the Shirley Walker Flash theme as Barry's dad fights Hamill-Trickster it will be perfect.
  19. So, seriously, if you haven't been watching Agent Carter you really need to. It's absolutely fantastic, especially this week's episode.
  20. If everything eventually hits the fan on The Flash the way it's looking like it's going to this season, I'd be down with Ray Palmer replacing Harrison Wells over there.
  21. What's interesting is that with Atom they've barely talked about the idea of miniaturization at all, whereas with Ant-Man they pretty much are like, "he gets tiny and commands ants; isn't that AWESOME?!" It's already been confirmed that Ray Palmer will jump over to The Flash at some point, so maybe the fun sci-fi shrinking angle will become a thing there. Ray Palmer is arguably more deserving of a show than Green Arrow is, really.
  22. It had singing and Gorilla Grodd. It was the best episode of anything ever. Except for that other time there was singing and Gorilla Grodd.
  23. In an interview with IGN, the showrunner explains a lot about their approach from the show and how they want the costume to evolve as the story progresses.
