  1. I will love it if he refers to himself as an old man a lot also. When you think about it, it has to be weighing on The Doctor's mind that he's nearing the end of it all. Eleven will only have two more regenerations before that's it, even less if the regeneration that created the Human Doctor in "Journey's End" counted as one. I hope this is something that gets addressed because if we get a Fourteenth Doctor with no explanation, then you're just ignoring part of the established mythos.
  2. I was actually starting to get worried that the black shirt and blazer that was being shown in the promo pics was going to be his outfit. This actually relieves a little bit of my worry about this Doctor.
  3. This makes me very happy. If they use Wally instead of Barry, that will make me even more happy.
  4. Be patient. It doesn't come out for another two and a half months. So, apparently CCH Pounder is also doing a voice, hopefully Amanda Waller
  5. I don't know if Microsoft did this in other countries but in the US, if you get the Red Ring of Death (Three of the lights) Microsoft will pretty much replace your XBox for free. Now, if they are willing to do it in your neck of the woods, what I would suggest is making your two rings into three. How? Well, technically what I'm going to suggest would be fraud but, it happens. Leave your XBox on, over night, wrapped in a blanket. That said, make sure Microsoft's Red Ring policy extends outside of the US first. No reason to cripple a vaguely still operational system for no good reason.
  6. Watching Scrubs today, I realized that John C. McGinley (Dr. Cox) would just rock as Guy Gardner.
  7. Just watched Wonder Woman. Maybe because it's Gail Simone writing it, and I am an unabashed Gail Simone fan boy, but thank you. Someone actually wrote Wonder Woman well. One of my only problems with Justice League is that Wonder Woman never really does anything. Of the Core Seven, she has fewer episodes that center on her than anyone else but this movie makes up for it. True, it's not in the DCAU but it's still an over all awesome experience. Part of my reason for loving this movie is also Nathan Fillion who continues to just rock in everything.

Just made a batch of brownies. They're uber-delicious.
  9. And after we've made our very own batch of Torgo's Executive Powder, we can just sprinkle it on the sandwiches.
  10. I'm reserving judgment. The core cast, Groening, and Cohen are all supposed to be at Comic Con a week from today so I'm sure they'll give us what exactly is going on. Then, depending on how that goes, I propose torches and pitchforks on Fox's corporate headquarters?
  11. Actually, Earth-43 is the Vampire Batman Earth which Donna Troy and Company visit in Countdown so no, you still don't escape Countdown there. There you just risk becoming part of it.
  12. But you'll always have the memories of Countdown and for the rest of your life, you'll wake up randomly at night screaming the name of Countdown.
  13. Okay... well, you can threaten to flood the London Underground with acid unless you are delivered a NTSC Super Nintendo, still in the original box and plastic complete with Super Mario World. Then when you get it, settle for flooding Cardiff instead unless they also deliver a list of ten games.
  14. Good luck finding someone else to ship you free stuff Well then! I guess I have to go back to plan B, Sucking up to yoda. Then again, I've been doing that ever sinced I joined here. Hasnt really gotten me anywhere. Any body else have any plans for me to try? Try used game stores and eBay. Only thing I can really think of.
  15. Sorry, I meant nice meaning interesting, not nice meaning good. Word Choice, something that isn't necessarily a bad thing. But seriously, it's not as if Family Guy stands a chance of winning. It's up against 30 Rock, Weeds, and The Office and the voters have always shown that while they're willing to nominate new things, they aren't necessarily going to let them win.
  16. SNESs aren't as hard to come by really. One of the used game places I go to always has one or two for around 30 bucks a pop. The key is finding some of the more quality games at a good price ie Super Mario All-Stars, Final Fantasy 2+3, Secret of Mana, Street Fighter 2 Turbo, etc.

Yoda, Koete, I seriously don't know which one of those is more awesome: the one that's unintentionally hilarious or the one that is.
  18. Nominations are up here. Nice Suprises: Family Guy did something The Simpsons never did and got nominated for best Comedy. Dr. Horrible Got Nominated Tina Fey got nominated for doing a bitching Sarah Palin on SNL. That said, still kind of find it crappy that Battlestar didn't get nominated outside of technical awards. Oh well, at least 30 Rock is nominated for like everything.
  19. Why is is that whenever I watch a movie, all the people want to fire at me?
  20. I'm going to just say it: Read Blackest Night # 1 and dare to disagree.
  21. Perhaps a Disney Afternoon podcast? Assuming about 5 episodes of a series per podcast, that's something like 115 episodes up through the end of Gargoyles and, quite frankly, everything from that point on is kind of avoidable. For that matter, so is Bonkers so it could be kept down to a hundred episodes, especially if you don't cover any of the movies that came out of any of the series (A Goofy Movie, the direct to Video Aladdin movies, Duck Tales the Movie).
  22. Congrats. Tiffany is an awesome speaker. I'll look forward to hearing the interview. Make sure to ask her if she's gotten an offer yet about the second Evangelion movie.
  23. I quit publishers more than I ever quit comics. I used to be majorly a Marvel person but between how good the build up to Infinite Crisis and how terrible House of M was, I just couldn't justify giving Marvel any money. Amazons Attack and Countdown almost made me want to quit comics but then Sinestro Corp and Final Crisis itself made me want to stick around. That all said, if Darkest Night somehow bombs, then I might consider dropping a few more titles and just sticking to the couple of DC Titles titles that I can't bear not to read (Secret Six, Wonder Woman, and Booster Gold Mainly.)
