slothian
It's a shame Father Ted ran for three seasons.Yeah, it'd be fun talking about Father Ted, although - no. of seasons aside - it is a sitcom and I fear that we'd just be repeating the same things over & over again. dc20willsave
Scream Queens: Ryan Murphy is an interesting creator. His shows tend to run between either a form of hyper-realized reality that you see in season after season of American Horror Story or the almost parody of reality that you see in either Popular or Scream Queens. (His most realistic take on life, The New Normal, would be an interesting take if note for the no Comedy rule). In it's two seasons, Scream Queens was basically both a parody of Slasher films, American obsession with fame, and the Sorority system in colleges and the intern system in Hospitals. It was smart sometimes and painfully dumb at others. Jamie Lee Curtis pushed through two seasons with some of the actors that made up Ryan Murphy's regular ensemble but, whether the show was a glorious train wreck or the worst thing ever is up to the audience. Rjoyadet
Spoiler I suggested this because some viewers see the protagonist as transgendered others think the gender bending between identities are just a clever disguise. I was curious to how you would interpret it.

Missy
Guys, please cover Fleabag. It's two seasons totaling 12 episodes. Each one is ~25 minutes, so it could easily be done in four or six episodes. Creator / Star Phoebe Waller-Bridge has repeatedly said there will be no third season, so it's a perfect fit. Dave - where do you stand on this, given it being a comedy? Do we treat it as a sitcom & reject it, or The Middleman and cover it? I know we can expect (nay, demand) feedback from Mike and Pandy....
