And the way they introduced the movie, it was tricky wording. They wanted the reveal of the teamup (the fact that the DCU was expanding) to be up on the big screen, but they needed Snyder to explain that it was the next movie. And hey, it probably is a legitimate sequel, regardless of whether Batman's in it or not. Just think of Batman like a villain in any other superhero movie; of course he's going to get the brunt of the marketing. We had Henry Cavill and Superman all over everything last year; it only makes sense that they'd use a different character this time. Especially considering how incredibly early it is still.
