RSS
It's been a long time, but the Commonwealth Crew returns with a brand new Dread Reel-ief. Well, it's not brand new, as you can probably tell with our conversation about the yet-to-be-released Iron Man 3. But, I digress! This time, the live action manga adaptation of Death Note gets a heavy review about the silliness of having a death god as a comedic sidekick, but also the moral implications of vigilanteism. This one is all over the place. Enjoy. Donomark
I'm glad you guys liked this! I've not seen any of the movies, but I've read the whole of the Death note series in its original manga format, and thought it was one of the most intelligent comic stories I've ever read. It was really big back in 2010ish.
Koete
The Death Note manga lost me halfway through when that one thing happened.

Rjoyadet
I find it mind boggling that the songs you guys mentioned were used in the opening and closing. Especially since many anime fans consder Death Note's 2nd opening to be the greatest theme. http://youtu.be/HGQAjAjsZNo
Dread
Huh...that sounds a little like System of a Down with a technical death metal edge. But really, anything is better than Red Hot Chili Peppers.
