It was not until a few years ago that I watched the full movie. At first I did not like it because it strayed far from the radio version. The origin story I heard never explained what he did out East but learned invisibility, how to throw his voice, read people and be able to impersonate others to the point that even close friends could not tell the two apart. That may not be the official origin story but I was able to make the connection with Darkman. When it came to the bloody mouthed Alec Baldwin in the flashback I always pictured him vocalizing in a high pitch.
