RSS
Redheads aplenty as Hey, an Actor! profiles one of modern cinema's more acclaimed actresses: Nicole Kidman. The Brothers Wilson chart her starring role in Baz Luhrmann's love-letter to his nation, Australia; her dark comedy career steppingstone, To Die For; and her Oscar-winning performance in The Hours, opposite previous HAA subjects Meryl Streep and Julianne Moore. Our hosts spend time reminiscing about a teacher's wall, and bracing themselves for the return of sound effects brought on by covering a film co-starring Joaquim Bottom. Plus: Pandy fails to immediately recognize actors who have had roles in Game of Thrones, David Wenham drops in for a chat, and one host embarrasses himself by concluding that a real-life author once had superpowers. Missy
Slight correction: It was Jay Thomas who made the comments about Rhea Perlman, not Dan Hedaya. It's an easy mistake to make, as they both played husbands of Carla on Cheers.

Missy
What's funny is I too read the exact same clickbait article. Since his in-series death was so fucking weird (Jay Thomas' character was run over by a Zamboni), I had to know why he was killed in such a gruesome manner. Dread
Crazy, one of the movies discussed in tomorrow's DM has Dan Hedaya in it, but I don't think we even mention it because the casting is so crazy. I love Dan Hedaya. He's responsible for my all-time favorite sit com sight gag.

I can't find the clip, but on Cheers, he barged into the bar and told Carla that he would hold his hand over an open flame until she took him back, so then he grabbed a candle and held his hand like three feet above it. It KILLED me.
