Am I the only one who appreciates the original Diddy Kong Racing? In a world of poor Mario Kart ripoffs, this one was rather fun and consumed lots of my time. S-T Posted July 4, 2006 Report Share Posted July 4, 2006 It was very good. By adding an overworld, the bosses, the quest for balloons, it was actually better in many ways than Mario Kart 64. You could even argue that it played better, and the extra vehicles were very cool. There was one thing that killed it though, and that was that you had to finish first in every race.
