Missy
Terrence Howard isn't big enough to play Luke Cage, but I would love to see him as The Falcon alongside Captain America.

JackFetch
I can live with those. They have a real animated feeling to them. I'm surprised they didn't incorporate the hammer into the Thor logo though.
Venneh
I'm a horrible cynic, and I have the feeling that somehow the hammer if it's in the logo will be coming at is IN 3D!!!!!!!! *shoots self*
MaxPower
Agree about the cartoon vibe of them, but that kinda works I guess.
KnightWing
Are they really any different than the Iron Man logo, though?
Guest TFG1Mike
I like em... very simple.
MaxPower
Are they really any different than the Iron Man logo, though? It's the stars/universe background that gave me a very Voltron, Astroboy, He-Man kind of vibe... if it was a plain background it would look totally different. JackFetch
Got a scoop from a well trusted source that Marvel/Disney are looking at doing 10 minute short films in front of their feature length movies that will introduce secondary characters like Black Panther, Luke Cage, Dr. Strange, etc. Source
Stavros
Got a scoop from a well trusted source that Marvel/Disney are looking at doing 10 minute short films in front of their feature length movies that will introduce secondary characters like Black Panther, Luke Cage, Dr. Strange, etc. Source Very cool. The more they push the universe, the more potential post-Avengers mileage they can get out of it.
JackFetch
During the Marvel panel someone asked about R rated movies, and The Punisher in particular. This was the response: “Frank Castle is under the roof of Marvel Studios now and we hope to bring him into the fray shortly.”

KnightWing
Ah, right you are. Lemme try that again. Punisher: War Zone was not only brilliant in its insanity, but highly enjoyable on an entirely fun—if admittedly shallow—level.
Stavros
See I remember that I've seen Punisher:War Zone, and that's it. Least memorable comic book film EVER.
KnightWing
Really? You don't remember the parkour thug that got blown up with a rocket? You don't remember that time Frank hot a guy in the face at point-blank with a shotgun while a little girl was over his shoulder? What about the part where Frank snaps an evil old lady's neck? Molly
Taymor was the driving force behind Lion King. She's amazing. I'm a little sad her name is on this.
JackFetch
The Walt Disney Studios, Paramount Pictures and Marvel Studios announced they have reached an agreement under which Paramount will transfer its worldwide marketing and distribution rights to Disney for Marvel Studios' The Avengers and Iron Man 3. Paramount will remain the worldwide distributor of the upcoming films, Thor and Captain America: The First Avenger, as well as the previously released Iron Man and Iron Man 2. Under terms of the new deal, Disney will pay Paramount $115 million for the transfer of the distribution rights to Iron Man 3 and The Avengers to be paid on the theatrical release dates. These monies will serve as a minimum guarantee against the distribution fees. "In completing this agreement, Disney will now assume worldwide marketing and distribution of 'The Avengers' and 'Iron Man 3' and leverage these two highly-anticipated films across the multiple global platforms of The Walt Disney Company," said Rich Ross, Chairman of The Walt Disney Studios. "We appreciate the tremendous momentum that Paramount established with these iconic Marvel characters and look forward to propelling the brand even further in the coming years." "Five years ago, when Paramount and Marvel made our initial deal, both our businesses were in very different places," said Brad Grey, Chairman & CEO of Paramount Pictures. "We are grateful for the partnership we have had with the terrific Marvel team over these years and proud of the work we have done together. Today, this new agreement is the right deal for Paramount, for Marvel and for Disney. We look forward to working together on 'Thor' and 'Captain America,' and we wish Disney and Marvel the utmost success, in what we know will be a very productive and wide-ranging partnership." "Paramount has been a wonderful partner in helping Marvel Studios bring our characters to the big screen," said Alan Fine, Office of the President, Marvel Worldwide, Inc. "This agreement makes sense now that Marvel is part of The Walt Disney Company." Paramount will release Marvel Entertainment's Thor and Captain America: The First Avenger worldwide beginning on May 6 and July 22 of 2011, respectively. The Avengers will be licensed to Epix under Paramount's existing pay television arrangement. Disney is planning a May 3, 2013 release date for Iron Man 3. http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=70864#ixzz12mP8FTpX And it begins.
