Stavros
Man, the X-men Anime is so bleh.
JackFetch
Imagine the Avengers vs Galactus. That would be amazing. The downside is we will never see a proper FF vs Galactus.
Molly
Splitting up Surfer, Galactus and the FF is a really, really bad idea.
Venneh
Trading the galactics for Daredevil rights is kinda a shitty trade. Don't get me wrong, I don't doubt some awesome Daredevil movies can be made, but take those two away, you're really limiting it to the FF and Doom. dc20willsave
I love the character of Daredevil but the only realistic reason I can find for Fox fighting this hard to keep Daredevil is that they think they can use him as a Dark Knight substitute, a valid response but one that would do more than a bit of a disservice to the character. MaxPower
If you think that FF sucks without these 2 characters, maybe that is marvels plan. Get these 2, give up Daredevil and then get FF back in a couple of years when Fox realise they can't do much with that franchise any more. Missy
Now Deadline is reporting that Fox might let Daredevil go, thus keeping Galactus and Surfer with the Fantastic Four franchise.
Molly
Honestly, without the rest of the universe, niether one of those properties will be barn burners. Fox really should focus on making the XMen franchise as big as The Avengers. It could be done, especially given how well First Class worked, but they can't afford another Wolverine or X3 flop. Venneh
But how many options do they have, for what mutants they can use? Cause there's only so much they can build out with a limited stable. And let's face it, they don't really know how to use it.
Dan
My understanding (which may be incorrect) is that Fox has pretty much any mutant character to choose from. That's why that weird situation of Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch being available to both Fox and Disney exists. It's just a matter of picking the right ones that work best together cinematically, which (I would argue) they haven't come close to doing since X2. (I liked First Class quite a bit, but that was all about Xavier and Magneto.)
dc20willsave
Yeah, unless you were Shaw, Magneto, Xavier, Mystique, or Beast in that movie, you got a couple of traits and that was that.
slothian
Yeah, unless you were Shaw, Magneto, Xavier, Mystique, or Beast in that movie, you got a couple of traits and that was that. Pretty much.

Stavros
I wonder if they'll let him bring Dr Horrible under the Marvel banner using the Icon brand or something like that. Then he could make more of them!

JackFetch
It's interesting that it's not for a set number of films like they have with the actors. Basically, they can use him to do whatever they want.
Koete
Mark Millar will now be the creative consultant for all of Fox's Marvel movies.

Molly
I'm exaggerating, of course, but this is the man who wrote the Hulk forcibly raping his cousin to create an inbred army.
KnightWing
Oh, no, I didn't mean you. I meant Millar. Your comment is right-on.
Molly
No, I realized my error. Millar treats characters he likes with respect. His Wolverine, his Superman, etc. Prepare for Orphan Rapist Cyclops, however.
Dread
This is a great pick. Millar writes big stupid blockbuster stuff, that's his oevre. It will work better in movies than it does in comics.
