Marvel Comics has released a new promo shot of The Avengers as part of their advanced solitications to bookstores. Bleeding Cool caught the below image debut, which is a working cover to an upcoming collection entitled "Road to the Avengers", collecting previously released movie tie-in comics. The official synopsis for the book is as follows:

Whoops. IMDB posted a huge spoiler about the plot.

Until today, we knew that Cobie Smulders would be playing agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. Maria Hill. One look at IMDb, though, reveals quite another story. She is listed as playing both Maria Hill and Anelle. That name might not mean anything to you at first, but use a little Google-fu and you'll discover that Anelle is princess and heir to the Skrull Empire!
